Hello.Yesterday at lunch I was looking for black kats and there were many. At each level, I found a black kats (or even two), but after dinner, all the kats are gone! I ran 15-20 times on different levels, and could not find them. Today, there is also no kats! What's the problem? I want to make a new helmet, but it will be very difficult because I can not find the kat! (Not to mention the book.)

Do these things even appear in Scarlet Fortresses? I swear I have seen them everywhere but. Does anyone have a confirmation that these appear in scarlet fortresses?

I can confirm they spawn in Scarlet Fortresses but they will be seen in lower rate because there's way less kat mobs than in a candlekeep...

No Shaman, I beg to differ, but, check the number of kats in the Cravat Halls. At every area where you are gonna get the key, you get about 6-8 spookats spawning. This sums up to a total of about 20-26 kats, considering the addition of some kats spawning in hallways etc, a candlestick should have less than 20.
Though, however, I can't make a good point if Black Kats spawn rate decrease along with the number of kats in a map due to my lack in good luck, so I would like to say that you should have more luck finding black kats there.

You can use the map to guess wich Scarlet fortress will follow but Candlestick is more random. I wouldnt give much importance to numbers.
