Just as Toastnaut said all you have to do is have four people in party and then find the kat. So can invite some friends and explain and if someone gets a book twice you just trade.

It's not 'hard'. Candlestick levels are actually fairly easy after the 10th time. Black Kats are easy once you get past their intimidation factor.
You just need a crap-ton of luck.

It's all luck based, just because you got it easily it doesn't mean that it's like that for everyone, plus your method is full of flaws most of them pointed out by Softhead (aside from the false information, since it can be obtained on missions from what I've heard from people with the book that I know in-game and would get nothing from lying). Considering that the title also piss me off because I'm one of the people that Quakeman mentioned, I would like to say that if you have nothing more to add: Graveyard is this thread's place.

Everythings wrong.
First of all, it drops everywhere. (in t3)
Second of all, most people presented with a rare item in parties will keep it for themselves, especially if you do not know them well.
Third of all, It is silly to say it is "not that hard". Getting that book requires that you be fortunate to encounter a kat AND have the book drop from it AND have it distributed to you if not solo and / or in a trustable party.
For some people that happens stupid fast.
For others it never happens.
You can't affix a difficulty to it, not if you want to be taken seriously. All it'll do is mock the people that aren't as fortunate.

Both times I found a book..
It was in a party of four, and it went to me the first time, my brother the second time. Considering that these happened in the same hour, I think it's fair to say it's not a bad idea to take your chances with a party of four?
And both of mine were on missions, so that's definitely not true that you can't get em there.
Or someone becomes greedy and kick-happy?
Or if the person who got it just ran off.
