As anybody who's been running jelly lately knows, the first half of the jelly run on Onyx Falcon is a shock gate. Well, the new jelly run will be going up later tonight at the Jade Knight. The problem is, we're potentially looking at getting shock AGAIN. This is reversible, but I need your help to change the tide!

Here's what you can do:

1.) Stuff the gate with GREEN minerals. Green is the anti-color for Shock. This will get us Poison, which is what we had not too long ago at the Amber Lion gate, but it's better than Shock.

2.) Do NOT put BLUE, PURPLE, or LIGHT minerals into the gate. Blue and Purple are the colors for Shock, and right now Light is competing with Green to be the anti-mineral.

3.) If you're a GM, just slot an alloy into that stratum and make it all go away. =)

The mats dropped in shock

The mats dropped in shock gates are valuable right now for a few reasons.

Voltech Alchemer is a good weapon
Anti-shock items will become profitable as gear diversity increases
Few shock gates have spawned in routine areas, we're just now getting into that
Shock gates are difficult for most players, not many shock mats are in stock

The difficulty of shock gates should lead players to buy more CE and farm fewer bosses that are paired with shock stratums. Consequently, we can hope to see the jelly items retain their value just a little longer.

Looking for materials?

You're not gonna get a spark of life off of that stratum. That's a 5 star material, this is the pre-jelly stratum. AKA Stratum 3, first half of tier two. I'm not even certain if you can get 4* mats out of that particular stratum, but I'm very, very certain you will never see a 5* anywhere before tier three.

Honestly if you want 4*+ mats, you need to control the bottom half of the totem pole, not the top.

The only shock mat you're gonna really get in that stratum is Volt Oil. I've been running Jelly so much and hitting those shock levels every time and that's the only shock mat I get. If anybody needs Volt Oil, send me a tell in game. =P
