Hey, I have been trying to find black kats in alone in the dark/weight of darkness.
In total i have found only 1 in alone in the dark out of 30 runs and 3 out of 17 runs in weight of darkness.
Anyone have an suggestions what i should do (maybe join a party or keep soloing) if i want pages but i also want a book?
Best place for Kat hunting?

The best strategy is to find about three other people to run in parallel with, then you all invite eachother when you see a kat. This will let you rack up pages four times as quickly. Just make sure you trust them regarding the book, should it get dropped.
About the book, it helps to make agreements where your goal is for everyone in the group to end up with a book rather than for all of you to individually to get it. From experience, it's fully possible for one of you to get 500 pages without ever seeing a book while someone else gets 250-ish pages and have three books drop.
I've been doing the 1st floor of Alone in the Dark over and over and I've found plenty of Black Kats (along with one Love Puppy and the world's unluckiest Kat). Heck earlier today I got 2 Kats per run for 4 runs in a row.
