Still hasn't stopped them from reusing assets for other things. Heck, all of the puppy variants use the same bullet, the polyps reuse the Lichen colony spike shots, snarby's spikes are recolored slime spikes. Its actually a common thing for one asset to be reused for another.

That still doesn't mean there can't be a player version. It'd just be rebalanced for player use, rather than admin use.
