100 ce for 8k cr back in November, I think it even hit 9k before Guild Hall update then it dropped from 8.5k cr to 7k cr in a blink of an eye...
That's worth mentioning...

It's not that. It's just that the buy/sell spread are not that far apart. At one point it was 6400 buy to 6400 sell or 6300 buy and 6400 sell for like 12 hours or maybe more. Usually if sellers aren't taking the buyer's bids that is close to their selling price or I think in this situation, some sellers are forcing the prices up to get buyers to buy at their price albeit still slow, but not as slow as before. I would prefer it that the sellers let the price rise naturally even if through inflation and not through manipulation, like I don't know, until the kat event is over?

Can't remember who it was, but they abused a glitch and made millions of cr, then used the cr to buy as much CE as possible. Because cr wasn't an issue for them, they were able to keep buying CE as the price rose. They got banned and all the CE they bought was returned to original owners.
Or something along those lines...

I think I know what happened in that day...
I noticed a glitch that happens to me, that when I receive any mail with attachments to it, I can take the attached things, but the log still show me that the mail is new and not opened. I assume that a player experienced that, but they could generate crowns from it, leading them to have large amounts of crowns, thus, they inflated the market and they,he or she got banned from the game.
Still not sure, it is just a thought..

That bug/glitch has been around longer than that. Whenever you try to collect the attachment you already collected, it will always say that there's been an error.

for now. I could imagine that the price could rise quite quickly next weekend when everybody who got Elevator Passes just for this still have it and hit FSC 20 times a day. But rejoice! I should invest some for the future seeing how I'm running out of what I bought with some almost 11k I got during the Winterfest promo.
