All I know how to do is :

For bold put strong inside < and >, then the word, then close with /strong inside arrows again

For a description, use < then a href="link" then > followed by your description, the close with < and /a and >

but how do you quote someone?

and what else can we do?

On top of the save/preview buttons there are some notes and a link that no one seems to notice....

How do I remove this?

Oh oh oh! While we're talking about forum editing, how do I remove the subject title on my comments?
I can't just leave it blank as it just places the first few things written here on it >.<

Oh, yes, as secret indeed...For the small price of 100CE, I shall tell you the secret on making your enemies weep in despair, as they cannot figure out how to remove the subject line.

Charging people silly prices for freely available information? You should write textbooks.

@Nex: Put just a 0 in the subject field.

um

At the bottom of this very page, that you are currently looking at, appears a list of HTML tags that are allowed. This list, combined with a Google search for elementary HTML tips, should set you up.

The "more information about formatting options" link only appears when your signed in though. Also to not have anything in the subject line put a 0 (not to be confused with a uppercase o) in the subject line.
