Maybe....Cutscenes? (and sprinting ._.)

I know this will take a long time to make stuffs like these but im suggesting that we should have cutscenes for Spiral Knight.
The Cutscenes would be another point of view and not from the top view.The cutscenes will include the party members and you.
Examples of Cutscenes time:
-The Beginning of the game (the crash land) for new players.
-Before fighting bosses
-after fighting bosses (get tokens...?)
-when you reach moorcroft manor, gremlin place thing in tier 3, and the core ( arriving the first time)
-Crafting things on the machine thingy willy
-reaching Haven
-and many more!!

just as the title says, we need sprinting because our characters walk so slow, but when sprinting you can't attack or shield yourself and the sprinting has a limited time.

Scenes would be good, but not necessary now. There are many more things that needs to be done before we move to fancy things.

For the Sprinting, it will be a big NO.

Why ?

Get MSI bonus ( Movement Speed Increase ) be it either from Black Kat Cowl, or the Mercurial Mail, or even the Mercurial Demo Suit. And why would we need more speed ? We already finish missions and runs in less than 2 hours, what is the need for sprinting ? Nothing.

Sometimes tracing back on a long hallway in a clockwork tunnel gets a little boring. But I don't see the need to run.

IMO

Scence should be only shown ONCE after completing a IMPORTAIN mission say bosses, gauntlet, and in the futre the pets........

about sprining, im gonna give you a fun fact : we are sprinint every time. IMO we should have a button fro walking than a faster sprint (or run if you will)

I thought knights were always running. The NPC do walking not running. We do running nto walking. unless were stunned :]

I think sprinting would be great for the clock works and should only be allowed there. The only down side is, if we can sprint, so can the enemies. This would mean the enemy difficulty rises, but i already know some players (AKA laggers) will not like sprinting for the monsters and complain that it will be op. Anyway, I would like sprinting in the clockworks, I don’t like walking on long hallways and doing nothing the whole time but checking out the scenery.

Another downside that sprinting could have is, if the player uses the whole bar, they will have to walk for a bit until they can catch their breath. I think that should balance it out. Same thing for monsters I’m thinking, but then again maybe no, because monsters are already too easy (besides the Devilites of course).

Play Striker.

Those mechanics are definitely sprinting.

Personally, I think it's too OP for CW, unless it was maybe a piece of gear (cough cough shield) which lost its primary ability in exchange for sprinting

In other words, striker booster in CW. It'd be weird, but might work.

Edit: also, sprinting isn't quite party friendly

cutscenes in which, is animated

@Softhead cutscenes in which is animated and not just text and boring conversation, you get to see, for example, vana actually turning around and talking to you.. with movement.

@Demotaasd your idea on the cutscenes are the same as mine.. forgot to mention that

@Xxdragneel well, some people would not use those armors, like I mean not all people is a bomber, and not all people uses the mercurial mail... maybe a UV would be nice. but imagine if you are in a tight situation with half a heart and you're fighting a lot of enemies, escaping would be nice

@Little-Juances I guess sprinting will only work in missions and clockworks?

@Breaker-Xd replacing the long boring text to the fully animated cutscenes, sure... it may be boring but add a skip cutscene option?

By far, there is only ONE cutscene in SK. And that's where you meet Razwog, adding more would be nice.

As for sprinting. NO, you're already running why sprint?

Arkus also has a cutscene.
The whole OCH altought not strict cutscenes has lots of dialogue on every monitor. They can be considered "interactive cutscenes"

I think

If there was animated cutscenes I think .....
#1 Give the option to skip so we don't have to wait and see it over and over again. Some of us might like it if it is a GOOD cutscene!
#2 Give us the abiltiy to make faces using emotes while bored and let us talk in the chat box its about playing with others not just watching.
#3 Give more graphic options in and outside of cutscenes so it looks better, to be able to even run the cutscenes or to record with good graphics.

And to point out problem with that is .....
#4 Okay to have animated cutscene there needs to be a storyline all the cutscene idea you named are great but there need to be more or you're just asking for animations and an intro.
#5 Also the "Three Rings" and "Sega" would need more animators and if any of us can animate and we should possibly help instead of just asking and it would probably take a while.

If this does become real i would wanna see ......
+ Like would wanna see my character in his pod looking at me while sitting in his seat while I could make him use emotes or see what he is looking at like the "cradle" the planet or something like a picture of home.
+ I wanna see a warning from those generic npcs like warning about strong enemies and a generic knight actually gets knocked back instead of sitting the as if he is somehow injured
+ I'm sure others wanna see main Npcs do something Rhendon and Razwog returning making a entrance Feron do something cool to show why his is the general.

Sprinting and stealth should be traded out for a shield if these abilites ever become usable in missions then make enemies to counter both abilites.

well the talking wouldn't be necessary to us but our main reason is just to make the scene more better and probably they would talk in chat boxes on the screen.

If you look very, very closely, players only move around by sprinting. A lot of the NPC knights in Haven walk, and do so very slowly.
