An idea for improving specialized armor- E.G. Dragon Scale, Valkyrie, Deadshot

A Problem

So no one uses these things. And by "no one" I mean that most people go for armor that is secure and basic over specialized, and never branch out- with good reason. The one I see the most of is divine veil, and thats just so people can pair it with skolver/vog to have amazing FSC armor with lots of resists and because fiend bonuses are nice. Most other armors are underpowered in comparison to these, and are especially so now that we have the black kat hat.

A Solution

Give them a second bonus.

For instance, volcanic salamander could give "Damage bonus VS undead med as well as Damage bonus VS slime med". Virulisk could also let you fight beasts better, and valkyrie could give a construct bonus. Other rarely seen armors could also be given damage vs a family med in order to improve their performance- fallen could be given gremlin med, which would help optimize it for offensive play in a certain danger mission.

The idea is just that these armors are far too specialized when fighting one monster- there is no reason to use fallen outside of fighting undead, or valkyrie outside of fighting fiends. If they had more of a bonus when fighting certain things, then they would be more useful, and would see the light of day more often.

Volcanic wiill have elemental defense with slime and undead bonuses? Rather than specialized it'll be WTF armor.
