i have been playing spiral knights for a couple of weeks now and i have run into quite some trouble getting mist energy so i have a couple of questions about it ...
how often does often energy recharge(by that i mean how much time does it take to get 1 energy) ? and does it recharge faster if i am in the game or out of the game ? is there a way to get energy faster (besides crystal energy) ?

Mist energy will recharge to 100 from 0 every 22 hours. It does not matter whether you are in or out of game, the recharge rate is the same.
there is no way to make the recharge go faster unless you buy mist tanks, which cost CE/crowns to purchase.
it is possible to be self sufficient without paying real money for crystal energy. I recommend doing the missions until you reach jelly king. Do jelly runs for crowns and use those crowns to buy crystal energy

Mist tanks cannot be traded or brought using virtual crowns. You need to use real life money and buy a package of something that includes mist tanks. That's the only way you can obtain them
You can also get mist tanks from completing certain tier requirements, and from King Krogmo.
The ones you get from fill proses are mini mist tanks. Steam users can also get mini mist tanks for inviting their steam friends.

How could you get mist tanks from him?
Before a game, bribe Krogmo with 25 energy total (all players can input as much as they want). You have a rare chance of getting a mini-mist tank.
And by rare, I've seen more bombhead masks than I've seen mist tanks show up as bribe rewards. I think that means I've seen about 5 or 6 bombheads, and 1 mini mist tank. And I've played enough to earn somewhere around 1000 krogmos, i think. So, I'd say very rare. Don't bank on that as a way to regain mist.
It takes 13.2 minutes for a mist to recharge. Some simple math: 22 hours for 100, 11 hours for 50, 5.5 hours for 25. In one hour, you get 4.5 mist, which means in two hours you get 9.
I can go on... but why?
