All of the end game content in this game has one theme: dark, eerie, and half of it is undead.
If the reason that there are absolutely 0 special Wolver / Chroma monsters existing in-game is that they are both too easy, then perhaps this should be fixed and they should be buffed. Either that, or make new wolver / chroma monsters that are tough mixed in with the current easy monsters.
Personally, I like the Starlight Cradle + Aurora Isles levels as far as looks. I also see that 0 end game content uses these levels or anything that isn't dark, and that it would be nice if there was a sort of danger mission / expansion mission added that uses one of these listed types of levels.
A slime and wolver-based (non-shadow lair) end game content is needed, in my opinion, to keep this game's content from being the same all the time.
Also, most of this game's content is about the monsters themselves creating most of the difficulty, while the environment plays a major/minor (depending on the level) part. Instead, I think that this new beast / aurora isles-based content should have most of the difficulty come from the environment, while the monsters only contribute to part of the difficulty. For example, SL IMF (even though it is a shadow lair and I hate these due to costs and cringe when I have to call them "content") end game content is very puzzle-based, while the monsters are just there for the purpose of fighting.
ell, the developers did describe that as the players dive deeper into the clockworks, the evels will get darker with less light. So im not sure a light themed content wil match the theme they would like. Anyway, you are right that a beast based content needs to be created that does not mix undead, but more beast variaeties.
