i dont found were to post this topic since i need a little advice.

some month ago i beated vanaduke with a Barbarous thorn blade, took me a little but i managed to beat him. now im trying to beat him with Blitz, but Guns isnt my thing, I can solo everything, from the depth 24 to the boss room.

i can go without trouble all Vanaduke phase except the last one. its the last one where i have trouble with the blitz. so How do you guys can kill vana with blitz without so much trouble? i tried to be near to him and he uses dash, i tried to make him use the dash to shoot him like trojans but he can still hit me with the mace, About the slags i dont have troubles its only the final form where i have torubles.

So how i deal with him on his final phase, some videos show be near to him but he keep doing the dash, so what im doing wrong?

In all honesty, I cant believe you did it with a BTB but fail with blitz.

He only dashes if you're in front of him. Circle around since he turns very slow and blitz his butt.

Yes, circle around him faster than he can turn to keep up. Try to stay as close to him as possible, so that your circles have small circumference, so that you can circle quickly.

Don't you have shiver? Shiver mist should atleast make things easier for you.

The blitz charge does not allow movement. Maybe that why he "fails" with it.

If your having trouble with vana when he spams his mace

1. Take Ancient plate shield.

2. Just stay a bit away from where the mace actually lands the Area of effect could push you instead of you taking damage. (May be hard to do this step).

3. If you have no space to move water the fire tiles.

Swords you might want to look into getting for vana

• Voltedge (vana won't be able to use his chage attack)

• Rocket hammer (the hitbox is large using a charge attack)

Guns you might want to look into getting for vana

• polaris

• Argent Peacemaker

Listen to them

Circling around Vanaduke with a blitz is your best bet. However, be very careful, as your circle will be progressively wider with each phrase due to the orbiting balefire bullets Vanaduke possesses. Also, if in a tight position, don't use the charge and just use a normal blitz attack, although this will take off a minute percentage of Vanaduke's health.

as long as we're listing alternative equipment

If we're going to start listing alternatives to Blitz Needle, then yes, a more mobile gun can be used to beat Vanaduke too. I've used Callahan, Nova Driver, Storm Driver, Argent Peacemaker, Polaris. Maybe you'd find one of those easier, OP.

The gap youkai is confused.

Where does it say OP wants to go blitz only? Maybe OP does not know there are other weapons besides blitz (and shiver) that are capable of taking vana down. Short version: This game really is not about brute force.

Second to last line OP says "some videos show".
It would be fun (for me anyway) to watch you dodge the enemies I dodge though.
