i'm in limbo at the moment, trying to load "deconstruction zone: savage salvaging" in the jade knight gate. every time it gets to 92%ish the client goes to "not responding" and i have to force close it. and when i open the client again and log in again, it gets to 92, 93, or 94% and just....hangs there, making me have to force close the client, etc etc etc. gonna try restarting. >_<

I'm getting this same problem on the Steam version. I complete the tutorial area and enter Pod Town but it crashes at 93 or 94% every time. I tried uninstalling and then updating java and my graphics card drivers but nothing has worked. I've seen a few other people on the Steam forums have this same problem too.
