Is crafting the ONLY way to get the Snarbolax coat (and everything else that helps make it like the Wolver coat, etc.)

I just got a new Ash Tail coat, and I want a Snarbolax coat. But the problem is, I don't have 800 energy. Is there an alternative to crafting it?

It only can be crafted by using the Sanctuary Alchemy Machine"

Yes, actually!

You can pay someone else to craft it, and then pay the extortionate unbinding fee on top of the fee to get someone to craft it for you in the first place. Unfortunately, this generally works out to be more expensive, since unbinding costs 4k CE on top of the SL and crafting costs.

You also forgot to include the fact that Snarbolax requires you to run a Shadow Lair in order to craft it, which generally tacks at least another 350 CE or thereabouts on top for the key in a 4-man party that's splitting the cost.

addendum

Mtax and Aureate are right. But let me add that buying a Snarbolax Coat from someone is not only costly, but unsatisfying, compared to earning it yourself. Shadow Lairs are expensive, but a really fun challenge. Give yourself the satisfaction of earning the gear yourself.

Alternative

You can buy the coat off of The Auction House.

For any equipment above 3* it's always cheaper to craft it yourself.
