Come to Haven 10. Saturday, February 23, 2013. 4 PM EST. We will make an attempt to shoot a video meme in SK. It won't take long. Come ready to cooperate and help out, and invite your friends to do the same!

You require clarification. I will provide it.

What will happen is the following:

1) Somewhere, sometime Latisan-Sklay (Or Lord Hood, or me, or Some other dude/-ette) wil begin shaking all over the place.
2) There will be many people there not taking any notice of crazy shaking guy.
3) At a pre-designated signal said by the person who's shaking all over the place (Or some secondary party) the next phase will occur.
4) Everybody will simultaneously run all over the place whilst letting loose as much confetti of as many types as they feel comfortable with.

0) The above will have been filmed (with or without sound) by someone/anyone who is able to.
0.3) This footage will then be expertly dubbed over with the music from Harlem Shake by Baauer.
0.6) Multiple points of view cut into one long video would be appreciated.
0.9) The now-complete video will then be put up onto Youtube. For posterity's sake.

Now, with that out of the way we can now work on the actual logistics of this operation.

The things that need to be worked out are threefold twicefold.

1} Where shall this take place (Which Haven)?
2} When shall this take place?
3} Where shall this take place (Which part of Haven)?

4} Who shall be the person who performs the intro?
5} Who shall be the people who do the crazy stuff?
6} What shall be the reward for taking part in this?

Thanks for the clarification Ghret. As to your questions...

1} Where shall this take place (Which Haven)?
An empty one. We don't need cross chatter and /zone chat getting in the way.

2} When shall this take place?
As soon as I can get some people together. I'm part of the guild < Rogue > and I'm gonna talk to the members there and see what they can do.

3} Where shall this take place (Which part of Haven)?
I imagined in front of either the Auction House or the fountain, or possibly the Lab. But anywhere works fine.

4} Who shall be the person who performs the intro?
I figure I can. If it's a knight that rotates side to side with the beat of the music, then not everyone even has to hear the song. Just count 16 turns or 24 turns or whatever it turns out to be from me, and then go crazy.

5} Who shall be the people who do the crazy stuff?
Everyone else. These Harlem Shake videos tend to be lots of people doing the same thing over and over, so I guess some people say stuff in chat. Some do /emotes. Some run around. Some throw confetti.

6} What shall be the reward for taking part in this?
Good question and I have no answer, other than that you'd be not only on a Harlem Shake video and not only on a Spiral Knights video, but a Harlem Shake Spiral Knights video.

Exactly what I thought.

The nice thing is that, so long as we don't have troublemakers, Haven 10 sits empty almost always. When the three people that showed up joined me in Haven, it was completely empty.

Even if it happens to get busy, we'll just move.

So yeah. :)
