The enemy healers are way too obnoxious in this game. One enemy butterfly or healing gremlin is annoying enough. If there is more than one than I'm ready to head desk myself. The tier 3 gremlins especially can revive each other like Korean ping pong. Like seriously do we have to be so pro to kill them first after dying a few times with the normal mobs?

Tell me this: What weapon do

Tell me this: What weapon do you use? Just because enemies can't be solo'd with a sword, doesn't mean they're unbeatable.

Try these:

  • ANY bomb that causes moderate damage, except Crystal Bomb
  • ANY status bomb except Voltaic Tempest, Venom Veiler getting an extra special mention
  • ANY weapon that deals shadow damage, with the exception of the Vortex
  • Toxic Needle or Venom Striker
  • Non-Elemental guns or bombs that deal AoE or burst damage, such as Troika lines, Catalyzer lines, Supernova and Leviathan Blade

weapon

bombs are probably nice for this. but my main weapons are limited to one gun and one sword.

weapons i normally use:

-leviatha sword
-divine sword (yea both the healers are low damage to it i know)
-blitz needle (really cant dodge with this gun)
-argent peacemaker (again, its elemental like the divine sword)

i dont spend money to open another weapon slot, and i use the scroll on my mouse to switch my weapons. i like to keep my weapon limit to two so i can switch between my weapons easily. i dont have space for a bomb.

You're trying to fight Gremlin Menders with FSC gear. Not going to work.
You can lock menders and the enemies they're healing down if you spam leviathan blade charges, but that would take a reasonable amount of skill.
If you're going to solo levels, you're going to find yourself severely crippled with just two weapon slots. Either get another slot, or play in a party.

You can't just come and complain about how hard a monster is when you don't even have the right gear or setup to fight them.

Save up on curse and poison vials. Curse the healers and poison and the healer targets.

Protip: Poisoned enemies take damage from healing.

Get an Acheron for Menders and a toothpick for Silkwings

Problem solved.

Gremlin menders don't care if

Gremlin menders don't care if their teammates are poisoned.
A bomb/gun with a good chance of causing strong poison is what works for me.

I never experienced a problem of healers outdoing my damage. At most I have to do 1 extra swing. Dunno what you're doing wrong.

my 2 cents

For Gremlins I just charge my Acheron and release it in their face.

For silkwings I just swing once with flourish then block and if it is safe, swing again and block again. Rinse/repeat

I always do them with swords rather than guns... Polaris is great if you can corner them, you can corner 4-5 of them at once and shock will prevent healing. Yes it deals low grey dmg but it still work

BOMBS: Venom Veiler is good for making the healers into your own automatic sentry turret, while Dark Briar Barrage is great for killing off the healers themselves.

GUNS: Just kill the healers if no one's poisoning the baddies; Sentenza and Umbra Driver work well on Menders while Silkwings, well, Blitz. Actually, Blitz can do well on Menders if you manage to hit; a Tier 3 Mender with Bubble Shield active is an easy Blitz target.

SWORDS: Acheron. Final Flourish. Problem solved!

Remember; if someone is poisoning the enemies with Venom Veiler and doing a good job, aim for the poisoned enemies! It will make the fight go quick and it will make your bomber feel all warm and fuzzy inside because he knows he's appreciated.

My only complaint would be how long the gremlin mendors take to die once you've killed everything. They just wander about the room and dodge with no attacks? They need to either grow a pair and attack, or just lie down and die for me so that I don't have to waste time chasing them about trying to beat them down as they summon shields to waste more time and heal each other.

recommended guns and swords

i really prefer not to use a bomb.

so besides archeon, what gun is recommended for both silkwigs and grems? as i said before, i'm not gonna pay for another slot to gain access to another weapon. i rather keep this game f2p as possible from now on.

*side note: i already spent a good $100 for expansion + guardian + explorer + battle royal packs. and i dont wanna keep spending for a slot that isn't perm. the only thing i would spend on now is on ele passes.

If you are using ele passes,

If you are using ele passes, you should be able to earn enough to keep up a weapon slot, especially if you use 100 mist along with 150ce to get one. Or just buy one for crowns.

Guns? Let's start with gremlins:
Sentenza
Umbra Driver
Biohazard (you might have a hard time hitting pesky dodgers)
Callahan (yes I'm serious)
Blitz Needle
Supernova (they need to add fire to this gun)
Valiance(?)

Silkwings:
Valiance
Callahan (probably a bit less effective against silkwings than gremlins
Blitz Needle
Alchemer line
Polaris

As Doctorspacebar said, you've already got a good anti-mender weapon in Blitz. Learn to use it - charge it while baiting the enemies around the mender to attack, then step around them and unload. Or just use it to kill enemies faster than the mender can heal them.

Also, weapon slot costs are pretty insignifigant if can run FSC and play more than a few days a month. You've paid into the game, which means you can start a second account with a seperate mist pool and use it to buy slots for 150 ce each. That's one run of FSC, including the token value. You can then keep buying slots and resell the ones you don't need for a profit, or use the mist to craft 2 star items.
