Solo is nice and all, but how bout AI companions (like the robots and the knights you free) when you do solo (you can make an options to turn off AI companions and how many companion numbers). Also instead of hearts, maybe you can revive them with 5 energy (doubles afterwards) when they die.

Soloing in a game which considers co-op to be important means having other players in your party is supposed to be easier than going solo. Getting health in the Clockworks happens often enough and taking hits should not be common enough to die constantly or more than a few times per floor even for the worst players.

If you want the advantages of playing in parties, play in parties.

AI versus Human

Dealing with AI is sometimes better because humans can be

  1. greedy and take everything
  2. afk or not there
  3. lazy and not do anything
  4. argue with you

  1. The only things not multiplied to give all party members the same loot as if they were soloing are materials and the very rare equipment drops.
  2. These people should be removed from the party and do not deserve to be part of one.
  3. See above.
  4. People are different than each other and have different opinions, ideas, and thoughts.

Not everyone is a good person. In fact, most of the people in this game are selfish children who should be spanked by their parents for their immature and awful behavior. Toss the bad apples. I appreciate that you know this is a problem and be assured that there are people who still stick around who want to change that so the game teaches its players how to be more mature in a community while being entertained by gameplay. Keep those fists clenched and teeth snarling, hold that flag high and proud.

i think you have been playing with bad parties. after i checked your "Revive Pill" thread i see most of your problem comes that you die because you revive people who keep spamming "rev rev rev me" and now this. in other words bad parties, and no, no all the parties are like that, not all the players are like that, try to find good friends or a good guild, and stop for a little time do runs with random groups.

Now:

One of the main issues of AI companions i have its they just go to hit everything without a brain, just check mech knights and the Spiral order knights in mission they just go "HURRR DURR ATTAAAAACK" and mech knight get destroyed and spiral knights get knocked out. so in a party or you trying to hit a mob they become a problem. (they hit frozen enemies, keep trojans in a corner while they hit their shield so you have to wait until the trojan stun them or knock them, they keep pushin enemies with their charge or combos, and the list can continue so on).

My second issue its: players just can become Lazy, they just will let AI do everything for them (which i think it your main goal with this) why i bother to attack if i can have an AI attack for me? i just will run around and let them kill the enemies sounds fun right? also if you do this with AI companions you wil be one of the kind of person you hate from players "lazy ones". if they get destroyed like mecha knights then you already have your AI companions, if they get knocked out like spiral order knights then you already have your AI companions, if they die and you can rev them would be the equivalent like if you were playing with a group of random players. So you see? there not point of have AI companions (and anyway you should wait for Battle sprites).

The game isnt that hard if you die too much then i feel sorry for you, keep playing and you will get better, the game was made for being Coop. you should feel lucky that this game have Solo Mode, not like mapple story that you cant get in to the Dungeons if you dont have a party.
