Meteor Strike Scenario Room?

What with all the news regarding meteors lately, imagine my surprise when I found this room today!

I don't remember this one from the old Scenario room list. Has anyone else encountered this before? Is it new?

(*Spoiler* the meteor has three waves of lichens)

Also, I found another scenario room a month or two ago that had these girders in a weird formation.

The room was filled with grey blocks and as I hit them, monsters popped out of the stone blocks! Never seen that before either.

It's really one of the oldest scenario room. Not new at all.

Never seen first one before. I like to stay out of T3 isles.
Looks pretty epic. So it goes with the storyline that Lichens were brought by a meteor. Much like Venom from Amazing Spider Man.

It's from lichenous Lairs.

Here's a wiki picture, uploaded on september 2012 (room is even older, but there isn't dated proof).
Exactly the same, save the light settings, because of status theme.

I've seen second one on April 14th 2012 so it's not new either.

BTW, it seems that scenario rooms re-discoveries are more common recently - is this the sing of Arcade revival?! I hope so.

Quick! Everyone gloat that you saw it before this person! That'll teach 'em to share something they found interesting!

Cool find, OP, I've actually not seen this room myself, though I have seen the girder room, all it had was a buncha boxes with Scuttles hidden in a few of them. I'm just surprised that the Russians were able to summon Lavos so easily. Looks like we're screwed...
