For all the plot, lore and relationships in the game, I feel some of the established characters could use more character-defining moments. Because this is pretty hard to convey when the game is centered around avatar players gearing up together for adventures.

The eight folks in Hall of Heroes would make a good source of banter between the various styles of gameplay. An insight on the life of Gremlins would add more spice to the story. Getting to see some of the NPCs get into the action somehow would be really darned sweet, because Vaelyn dual wielding Flourishes is what the heck it is.

I mean, we're nearly two years through since the first public release. Any thoughts?

Well, for starters, Three Rings needs to hire an ACTUAL WRITER, and give life to those boring NPCs. After that, they would need more $$ to budget things. SK used to focus on people grouping together to do adventures, but things have changed since the first 5 months after SK's release.

This is why we have the fan writers.

SK's open ended lore allows more creative licence with fan fics without going OOC.

Some focus on the typical heroes, others on the background of a race.

It would cost too much money, the game is not popular enough for a movie to be considered. I doubt a comic would be made and I don't think having a comic would be in the spirit of the game.

Ie, helping with some story aspects(Barely any is there).

Besides Never say never, Holographic Genie(X makes it sound cooler) , there could be it if the game gets more popular, talking about comics...
