Party Play - Reviving
When you revive another player with half of your health, is it true that you get part of that player's heat or not? Or does anything else special happen?
Just trying to clear that up :P have heard some things from here and there
Alright, I was looking for it on the wiki! I only searched for party-play related topics though, I forgot to check the actual heat page :P Thanks for clearing that up!
I knew of the 30% part, but... I thought if you revive yourself with Energy you keep all your heat? o_o
I suppose if if the heat is lost anyways, there is never any point to reviving yourself, or the whole team for that matter. (Assuming you're in a team and aren't forced to.)
Usually in party-play if our team reaches the point of being fully killed, then we just take turns on whoever has the cheapest revive cost. Yeah, you lose 30% of your own heat, but you get it back from the others you revive through your health though? You even gain heat if you revive more than 1!
Playing in a party is still worth it, it gives you the extra edge to NOT get killed as often as you might going single, also my friends and I use the same method as Evolution, and after learning how each other play we rarely have a party wipe of any kind (and even when my partner revives me I still end up with a lot of heat in the end!) And, Chronus, you'll make up MORE heat as you go further into the dungeon so unless your spam-dieing (a death every few steps) you'll make up the heat you lost plus more.
Plus, by dying you only lose 30%, by returning to town you lose all. You need to reach the elevator in order to be awarded your heat.
Yes, you transfer half your health to them and in return you receive 30% of their heat. If you revive using energy that 30% heat is lost. I got that info from the Wiki page for Heat.
