Gear buffs and alterations
Armor
Currently bombers have the worst gear organised towards them out of the three weapon types only providing elemental defense for all the full sets and shadow from the Kat event. Due to this it is obvious that the armors for demos need to be changed to better provide different play styles and areas.
Mad bomber should be changed to pure normal defense and increased slightly but not allot. Give it a speed boost small per piece as well. The status effect debuff can be increased if it is needed but not by allot or else the suit will be over shadowed by the chaos set and be used even less.
Change the volcanic demo set to shadow defense instead of elemental. Increase the amount of shadow defense by half a bar.
The Mercurial Demo set is already fine in most regards and should be kept as the elemental armor of the set. If a buff is felt to be needed the suit piece can be given a speed boost medium instead of small to give it a slight edge to help keep it balanced but not break the scale.
Now for the bombastic set, this one I feel would be best for pricing defense and switch the defense type for the earlier types with it as well. A bomb damage bonus can be given to the set if it is needed of small per piece.
Sheilds
Bombers are also the only play style that does not have a shield made for it and this must change.
bomb shield idea A) Reverse shield bump
The idea of this is rather simple, instead of the enemy being bumped you are. The shield should be simply flat normal and just have a notably high normal defense or some specialization if wanted.
Bomb shield idea B) Bomb bumper
The name explains it all, the shield bumps your bomb. No need to get into major detail but will get into some. The bomb will be bounced just like an enemy would and will stop once it hits one. The bomb can go off mid bounce.
Bomb fixes/buffs
Elemental bombs over populate the branch of weapons and ironically has the lowest damage over all due to most of them being mainly used for status effects making them more of a secondary weapon for swordsmen and gunslingers.currently there are only two 5 star bomb with elemental damage that is not a vapor. One of these bombs can be only obtained from tokens for PvP while the other is a shard type. 21 bombs, 7 elemental, 2 offensive, 4 shadow, 3 normal, and only 3 pricing. The number of bomb choices are obismal and needs to be increased greatly.
Bombers also have a very large issue when it comes to things like setting off switches, break ghost blocks that are placed at a distance to keep a none required gift from being obtained.
A bomb is needed that in it self is more functional then offensive, a type of use item if any thing. I bleave this item should be a type of hand sized bombs that do little to no damage but at the same time do not take up an item slot and could possibly be a special bomb armor item bonus that can be used when you hit a key to be thrown.
The shard bomb items are not the easiest item to use as they are rather unpredictable making them hard to use. A way to make this easier would be to make that the shards fly towards enemy instead of a fixed spot as well as keep them from just not spawning if you place it too close to a wall or edge.

-Volcanic demo suit was meant to help people in FSC. Taking away the elemental defense makes no sense.
-The mercurial demo set, having med msi on both piece, would make the armor too op. Though, some people have suggested msi on one part of the set.
-And if mad bomber were to get msi, it would devalue the special merc. set in return. The term "glass cannon" means large damage plus the reduced ctr. Having speed added with that would be a bit much. Cannons aren't meant to move fast :P
-Shields, not a good idea. If you get bumped, think of the number of chances you could get launched into hazards, or even other monsters...
-Bomb bumping = a ground-based gun. Imagine bombers being able to do this in LD. It would be like everything was the RSS before the buff. Plus, some bombers shield after they place a bomb, and then switch bombs. This would hinder their techniques.
-bomb fixes... the bombs actually cover about the same as that for guns, so that is not much to complain about.
-bomb and switches- you do know swords have that same issue, right?
-bomb thrown- that would be like an extra, and not something I'd like to see since it is like giving a bomber another weapon slot. Besides, that sprite patch that's coming in the middle of the year would be like this.
-shard bomb- ...you're kidding right? That was exactly how the old RSS bomb was before they nerfed it. That would be like unbuffing that line all over again.
Sorry to say. but this idea needs a bit more work. I can see how your feel the whole bomber line needs a fix, but mostly for the poor Mad bomber set.
