Hi I recently joined the game again. I took a long break and sold all my things. I recently came back and this was a chance for me to specialize in a class, especially with the new sprite system. Question though, GM feedback would be appreciated on this. I have concerns regarding the chaos set. It seems really strong. Especially if you score maximum UVs on it. Should I take the time to invest in one? It feels really strong in my opinion, like it's too good to be true. I really don't want spending tons of money on UVs for if it gets nerfed anytime soon. Feedbacks from GMs and Players would be nice.

When the Chaos set was buffed a few weeks ago, there were many, many threads on this topic. It has been discussed to death. Yes, is is extremely powerful, and makes Mad Bomber gear obsolete, and so on. While you wait for an official response from Three Rings (which may never come)...
It seems unlikely that they'd nerf it right after buffing it. They don't make these changes on a whim. I suspect that at a bare minimum they would keep it buffed to CTR+2 and dam+1, or vice-versa. It was a decent set even when it was just +1 and +1. So, yes, go ahead and invest in it.
