Its simple. If you have an accessory like Regal Vertical Vents, you could pay a reasonable sum of ce or cr to have it recolored as one of the common colors(Dusky, Military etc...) I'm not sure if this could apply to skins like Shadow or the event skins but meh...Another thing is the fact that I'm assuming players already paid for the item and are willing to pay more to have it reskinned. This could apply to accessories already equipped or in your bag, this would be a plus if you got a Skolver Cap from auction with Valkyrie Wings, but oh wait, its the wrong color and your willing to pay an extra 50kcr or 100kcr to make that expensive item useful.

UPDATE : This does NOT apply to Volcanic/Prismatich and extremely rare color schemes. ONLY common ones that are easy to obtain.

Sadly, it might become exploitable if the players didn't have to equip the accessory to change it's color. This could end up with multiple accessories that shouldn't have color scheme.

Its hard to understand what you written @ Terra-Necro, but it would not be exploitable since players have to pay large sums of money for it. Also, only items with those color schemes could have them in the first place, meaning I can't give Crown of Winter a recolor or Golden Laurel. This only applies to accesories with colors and you can only choose between the existing colors.

Too much exploit... it's almost like duping what you ask...

Pay 100k cr to put my dusky dapper combo into a prismatich one? hell yeah... no brainer... Oh wait that toasty one looks good... Oh wait surge dapper combo, nvm...

I don't think this would work in any way but it's a good suggestion for OOO to have a CE sink whenever they need to... 1k ce to change skin... >.<

Edit: What he's saying is that there would be no reason to have a dusky one if you could get a prismatic one so they would just disappear... and the economy would be hurt from that, all the valkyrie wings would be prismatic just like any halo... auras...

WAIT WAIT WAIT A SECOND.

This is a misunderstanding. I never mean't for you to think about it in that way. It only applies to COMMON color schemes...NOT rare ones like prismatich. The commons are Dusky, Regal, Military and basic things they'd give you on a Spiral Flak Jacket. This wasn't for Prismatich/Volcanic items lol, only for the COMMON ones!!! Dx

There would be lots of problem involving themed/event related items... and would probably involve some coding error... Frosty Fur Cap... could be turned into what kind of "costume" Fur Cap? Another theme'd one? Or simply no event/theme'd related one?

Volcanic/Divine wouldn't fit? Why? It's "too rare"?

Why leaving some behind? If you implement this you gotta think about every angle of it...

No re-color on event related items would cause confusion and the fact that Divine/Volcanic/Prismatic would be left alone would cause people (like me) to ask for it since we can re-color it... Make it cost higher but we would still want it...

So IDK, give more details, more thoughts and maybe it could go somewhere...

Edit: Would it work with Valkyrie wings? I saw some Military for 600k cr I believe and would've buy them if I could've re-color them ^ ^

There's a reason why OOO chose to gave you a specific accessory style instead of allowing you to choose it on the spot.
