Guild Voting

It is very impractical to have an all-guild conference when deciding upon what things the guild should do (such as what decorations should be bought, who should be promoted, etc.).

This is why I think it would be a novel idea to introduce a voting area, or a survey area where a guild master or officer can post a measure or survey for people of the guild to vote on. It would be very helpful in important matters, when everyone's thoughts need to be heard on a subject. This way, people don't have to clog up the chat window.

I don't think that this would be too difficult for the developers to install in the guilds (they could just add another room to each guild for it), and I believe that it would greatly help guild masters and officers with important decisions.

Please post any thoughts about how this idea might be made better, or why you think there should or should not be one.

Mmyes.

I think the idea is nice, but probably wouldn't be used often enough to be implemented. As a guild master, I don't make a lot of decisions in my guild that require democratic input. However, my proposed solution to this would be utilizing your Message of the Day to post your poll and having your guild members send their votes to one guild master via mail. The only potential problems with this, of course, would be spamming up the guild master's inbox and costing every voting member a (negligible) 25 crowns per mail.

I see your point

Okay, I guess it might not be that necessary for guild decisions, but it would still be a nice way for people to post their thoughts on a matter without clogging up the chat system... Maybe it would be neat if they had a spot in guilds where you could have guild forums-- where only the guild can post and you can access it in the guild hall (so you don't have to open up a new window for spiral knights forums).
