So to you Aureate, I am not arguing about the availability of the set as a whole. I realize and admit that the set is obtainable through the Auction House, even if at massive costs. However, while available, these sets are typically not so available unless you are incredibly wealthy or rich in life, enough so to buy a ton of energy and convert to cr. Plus that, let's say you decide to grind month after month, by the time you can achieve the necessary price posted, the bid could have gone higher or already been won, therefore leaving you waiting for a seemingly hopeless cause. But yes, I am not arguing they are impossible to find, nor am I arguing that you can't purchase them, even at high cost, I am arguing about the fact that the items should be available again, either through the wonderful Rose Regalia Event, or an incredible series of Missions through DLC or otherwise that tells the story of the set and THROUGH the story makes the uniqueness, not necessarily based on the rarity.

To Infernoburner, Technically yes buying from the auction house is buying from an NPC in the sense that its through the games automated system, but the fact doesn't change that the item isn't original, in terms of acquisition. If I was to work for the set and get it through a Mission Prize, it would be completely mine, as I had worked for it, not bought it from someone else who had worked for it then decided to sell it. I personally like being able to influence the economy, and am much appreciative of the selling energy system done solely by players and their trade. As the auction house is driven by player demand as well. Once again, not what I'm arguing about here.

To Autofire, Heck yea I'd love new colors ;D When I suggest that the Rose Regalia Event be brought back, I'm not just saying the old one, but just to have the Rose set finally available again. If OOO decided to do new colors with older colors in rarer boxes and stoof, It would be incredible! I just want that Event man :P

Finally, To Canine-Vladmir, Please explain to me why the integrity of the Rose Regalia would be tarnished by having it be available again? Not only would that encourage more player knowledge of the set as well as fame and notoriety, but it would possibly cause in interest in the backstory of the set, creating an interest in the Rose pieces, as such, PIECES of a story, PART of the enriched tale of the Rose Knights. I have a billion ideas when it comes to proposing an actual story for OOO to launch off of, create new DLC or Missions that eventually lead to the aquisition of the set and have it be more MEANINGFUL, not just "rare for the rich." The set is entirely not as old as the Beta set, and not only that, if I was so wealthy, I could be an entirely new player and buy the set off the AH and what would that prove? That I'm a veteran? Not at all! However, through DLC and missions, or a possible reevent, it would show that I had a continued interest in Spiral Knights, enough to donate packs of energy to aquire ALL of the sets and colors, not just one or two. People assume everyone would wear the set and lose interest, but this is rightfully not so. The comparison to me is like the Mask of Seerus. That hat is only obtainable through the Mission and acutally quite hard to get if you are a noobish player. So when i see it, I recognize talent and am appealed to that set because of the hard work that went into achieving it. Such is what I want for the Rose set, not necessarily JUST to get it. See what I mean at least?
