Imagine this...
"You jerk...you've slain all my allies! I'll get you..."
Uncloaks and swings Flamberge.
Striker turns around and starts shooting what he has in his hand, a Kilowatt.
BZZZZZT
Striker swings his Swift Flourish several times until I die.
What's wrong with this scene? No, it's not that I have a Flamberge (go ahead and criticize it, anyway), it's the Kilowatt. Not its spread, but the shock. That was close range shooting, mind you. This gun expands expands at long range. Shouldn't the shock be kept to long range only?
In PvE, this can be OP also. Shoot at any distance and you'll ALWAYS have the same chance to shock. When they get shocked, you can walk away until they are far enough to get hit by expanded shots. The shock helps you distance yourself at close range. (Looking at it in the way of balance, I technically wouldn't need another weapon-I could shock them and get away, rather than swing a heavy sword to make distance.)
I think, rather than remove the push or the clip size, it should be making you vulnerable by not shocking (or reducing the chance of shocking) at close range. With things like this, you don't remove a large portion of it's uniqueness, and yet nerf it in a way that makes it less safe to use.
:o! do you know what this means?
GIGAWATT PULSARS WILL RULE!
what would be the point without the shock. a less-damage dealing elemental pulsar? this would be not fair for the small bullets. riots would start. (i want mah crownz bak!) and then... OOO decides that due to riots, there will be no pulsars. the close-range shock gives LIFE to the small bullets, now you are turning them to piles of Non-Shockers!
even worse...
