Which Shield do you think can take more hits in FSC?
I am a gunner that is in need of occasional shielding from Trojans, Wheels, Flamethrowers, mace, spinning fire bullet from mask and the switch room with that thingy in the Sprite level, and rarely zombies gang jumping me
If it is too similar in context, which one is better looking?

Neither shield can be considered "better-looking".
The most effective shield in FSC would be the Volcanic Plate in terms of taking hits.
