Make a clear and easy way to tell if you already have a recipe learned or in your inventory when purchasing recipes. The number of times I have made this mistake hurt the purse and the pride.... I mean, the number of times my *ah hem* friend has done this.

'Known Recipe' or 'New Recipe' appears over the tooltip when you mouse over something at the vendor

Thanks Ceyne!

I agree. This is a pretty cut-and-dry user experience improvement.

Brightly coloring recipes to

Brightly coloring recipes to indicate which ones are new in a recipe list would be great.

I would also like individual recipe icons (Or at least different color codes) for sword, bomb, armor, etc recipes. As it stands, it requires a minute of reading and a highlight before you can discern the identity of a recipe if you're not yet familiar with the name.

Uh.

Are folks managing to miss the 'Known Recipe' or 'New Recipe' that appears right over the tooltip when you mouse over something at the vendor?

The "New" and "Known" recipe

The "New" and "Known" recipe tags require you to mouse over each recipe in succession to know which you have, and then a second time when you decide which to purchase.

Given that the majority of the time you are looking at the recipe list for a recipe you don't have yet, this would be very convenient.

For those buying recipes to sell, it would have no impact.

Well if you are buying every

Well if you are buying every recipe you don't know, then as soon as you mouse over something and it says "New" click on it to buy.

If you are buying the best new recipe to actually make a weapon with, then either you know what weapon you want, so you are looking for that name and know that you don't already have the recipe, OR you are checking out each recipe. In the first case, nothing needed. In the second case, you have to do a mouse over of each recipe to see what it has for stats anyway. So instead of doing THAT mouse over, then going back to find what you don't own, do it the other way around. Go through and click on everything you don't own to get it in the purchase window, then go to THAT window and check stats on everything, clicking out the items you don't want to buy, leaving in the ones you do want.

When you mouse over a recipe

When you mouse over a recipe at the top it says either "New Recipe" or Known Recipe". If you're looking for a certain recipe then you usually know the name of it anyways. The Dread Skelly set for example is 3 recipes, checking 3 recipes to see which you need is not that difficult honestly.

Also, with the exception of swords and bombs, recipes also DO have different colored icons:

Swords and Bombs: pink
Guns: grey
Armor: purple
Helms: blue
Shields: green

I totally missed the new vs

I totally missed the new vs known tag as well. That will save me a lot of time. Still wish it was more obvious, but such refinements will happen as the game ages. Thanks for pointing it out Ceyne
