That seems about right.
it isnt upgraded, but that seems reasonable. You could probably get 4000 - 4200 for it though, if someone -REALLY- needed one.

People have worse mistakes.
For example, I just realized that humanity's existence is the worst thing for the world since a couple of large meteorites, and that humanity is constantly deluding itself that it is superior. Also, that the Internet is the worst thing for humanity so far due to the de-humanization of individuals.
In comparison to that, losing a few thousand virtual coins which, at the end of the day, are worthless pales into insignificance.

I'm not much of a trader but isnt 3500 ce for a 2* item good? Saved on the unbinding costs of higher levels.
