I think OOO is going to make the current Spiral Knights very bad, then make a "Old School Spiral Knights" which can only be played when you pay a certain fee like OCH. Kind of like of what Runescape is doing...

Or, OOO is probably prioritizing future content additions rather than present content situations. Then, once the new content is added, fixes would probably be made accordingly so that the new content is a benefit; rather than a disadvantage to the player base. Whether or not unbalanced items will be fixed during these updates is questionable; though probably not a priority due to current statistics being fairly accepted by a majority of the player base.
I could be wrong, as these are merely opinions. There is an additional possibility that OOO might be working on present content situations alongside future content updates; a rate of which is influenced by the time and effort placed into these varied projects. They probably don't simply ignore good ideas, though possibly don't have the resources nor energy to support them. Main projects of which they have planned out already could likely take priority over external ideas; regardless of how good the ideas may be; due to any previously intended arrangements consuming the resources they currently have.
Well, i could be wrong, right, partially right, or maybe irrelevantly wrong.
I don't have anything to back these claims, as I have done absolutely no research on the matter; ^.^
These are just opinions in correspondence to the topic this thread is under. By No means do i intend any offense toward any worker of OOO; in the extremely unlikely event that someone from OOO reads this.

yea, thats what im thinking. There doing gear and player items buff first before changing the rest of the game.
