Feedback survey: How many new Chaos Sets were crafted?

These days I am quite off from this game as I found new lands to adventure recently. Still, I come back time to time to see if anything changed around here. /twitterlikepost

Since the last patches, Chaos Set was buffed dramatically. I saw then many people wondering themselves if they should craft it due to OOO possibly changing their minds and returning it where it was. So I would like to ask the community, how many new Chaos Sets were crafted since then? If you also know their opinion about "what if OOO changed Chaos Set next patch", even better. This way, OOO may know how to react better when they rebalance that set or other ones related, as they were saying that they were collecting all feedback possible - and a bit more wouldn't hurt from ourselves.

I doubt they will change it back. The Devs. seem to have made up their mind on introducing glass cannon to swordies, gunners and bombers. This is done at the expense of bombers and it's not the first time in my recollection they have done something similar.

So if you are interested in chaos set, I see no harm done to do so.

Several months ago, I managed to get an Elemental Cloak as an item drop. I've been thinking about crafting the Chaos set for a little while but I wouldn't be too upset if any adjustments were made to it. Quite a few of my guild members have crafted this set already. One member is a bomber and has the Mad Bomber Set; they are fine with the update but don't plan on crafting the Chaos set any time soon.

Obviously, I'm using it anywhere I would otherwise have taken Mad Bomber. I doubt I'll bring the full set much anywhere, but there's not much reason not to at least have partial Chaos for a lot of places.

I crafted the full Chaos set because of the buffs and renewed interest in it. I intend to use it for the challenge of it.

Well I already had my one piece of chaos.. and I can't imagine needing more than that now! I feel like I just got the whole set on one piece for free! Heck, I used it when it had damage low...

I feel that I would be able to cope with the status weaknesses; I could always get UVs (either by rolling or purchasing from the Auction House) or use trinkets if it was necessary.

I've been using Chaos before it became cool. Would not recommend you to watch this, so don't (it's proof that madman kitty has been using chaos since last year). I tried to encourage the idea for players to use Chaos, but you all thought that I was crazy and /ignored me; it looks like OOOs and the buff beat me to it (convincing you all to use chaos). Magnus (in 2011 July) highly downrated the use of Skolver in FSC when I asked him; he said it was useless and Vog was better; but back in early 2012, that hypocrite said Skolver was better than Vog, and he even made a set and used it.

You all said that I was a madman!!! But look at you clowns now, FOLLOWING IN MY MADMAN FOOTSTEPS!!! Just like with the Blitz Needle and Skolver gear (this was back when SK launched). If ya'll remember how SK in the early days of release was like, then you'd remember not seeing players use Skolver or Blitz; You'd almost NEVER see these types of players. You'd only see Vog, DA/GF, and AP. That mainstream shhhhhhhhhhhht.

I strongly recommend Chaos users to make a VPB (volcanic pepper box) and try it on the RJ and on Lumbers (charge attack). Think of it as a mini-FoV/Blitz. Must master the mid-range auto-gun if you want badarse results (meaning you know how to use an autogun).

I made a Chaos Cloak because I can't wear a Black Cat Cowl and a Seerus mask at the same time, and it was either that or a gun CTR trinket.

But I see a lot of people wanting to buy magic hood/cloak with fire uvs so it looks like there's a lot of interest.

I believe Chaos Cowl was the 2nd or 3rd 5star item i crafted when i joined, and that was only because i bought the wrong recipe.
LOL. i rarely and still rarely use it. Pre patch, i sometimes used it for its CTR bonus and with bombs.

Chaos Cowl is the only bombing gear i have. :0

Back in the days, the only way to access max damage and ctr for bn in fsc was to have a ctr vh blitz with either the gunner set or chaos and two dmg trinkets.

The shadow sun gave one damage bonus per piece, same as chaos. But chaos gave a uni bonus, therefore chaos was the choice to go if you had a sword in ur loadout .

I think i got my fire max chaos set for less than 12k for both pieces, chaos has been strong and will always be.
