In an add somewhere it said no grinding. This isn't really true anymore, particularly for players seeking T3. To fix this, why not make the Cobalt line gear be cheaper to craft? This means all of the items that come from the 2* stuff given to you in the missions. Previously, the energy costs on items were lower, with 3* being 100 energy, 4* being 200, and 5* being 400. If this was reset for the cobalt gear, then it would take less grinding for players to progress. This might sound bad, but the thing is, cobalt in itself isn't popular right now, nor is it considered powerful. The goal of this is to help players hit T3 sooner so they keep playing and then will feel impelled to widen their arsenal from there.
Note that this would effect the CiV, BAB, Heater Shield, and the other spin-offs, as well. The only exception would be the Almarian Crusader set, which is something that I would call completely end-game.
Go ahead and tell me if this doesn't sound balanced...it's just that a lot of players seem to have a hard time getting past T2.
EDIT: Or atleast some whole set of equipment: Helmet, Armor, Shield, Sword, Gun, and Bomb should all have their energy costs reduced, at the price of not being so powerful compared to the other weapons of their tier. (Not much worse, but still a bit worse in compairison. I.e. caliburs aren't bad swords, but most prefer something a bit more powerful in comparison.
Then it would have to all be worse.
