I do not read gremlin chatter on a regular basis, and when I do I am disappointed in it, and make this thread most of the time. I do not wish to play "vending machine"... forum games are objectively not discussions, and therefore go against the nature of "Take the knight off and discuss things of a non-Spiral bent" and are as such a clear violation of the forum rules. Namely, the one reading"Keep your posts relevant to the forum section in which you are posting. Read the description for each forum to make sure you’re posting in the right place." So lets say that I wrote a fan fiction about Twilight. It would not be appropriate to put it in the treasure vault, as that is for Spiral Knights related things. That *might* go into the gremlin chatter forum... as it *could* be construed as a discussion regarding my badly written literature. But lets say that it WASN'T a discussion. It wouldn't belong on the forums. So why do we have a forum titled "Take the knight off and discuss things of a non-Spiral bent." full of forum games, which, as I have stated are not discussions of any sort? We can make a new forum titled "Forum Games" or something, but right now there is no place for forum games on the forums at all, just as there is no place for Twilight fan fiction that leaves no room for discussion.

It is hurting the fact that if I want to have any kind of serious discussion of "a non-Spiral bent" I have no where to put it, as we don't have a place for discussing such things. Instead, we have a forum games section, and a group of people that checks the forum-games section rather than a group of people looking to seriously discuss things.. and even if there are some decent discussions there, they are relatively rare compared to the sea of forum games. The first real semi-meaningful discussion is, right now, the seventh thread down. The second thread on the first page is the ninth slot down.... the rest of the page consists of meaningless nonsense about stealing cookies and buying dirt. The two good threads have far less posts than the forum games and consist largely of some of the forum-gamers who have wandered in to take a look around....

Thats part of why I put that thread there.... It wasn't there to "Troll" or antagonize you, putting it there was part of the fun... as all threads vaguely suggesting changing the game are meant to go in suggestions, as evidenced here: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/58763 And, as I posted in that thread- http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/56862

Of course, there's more to it, but I'd rather not spoil anything... anyways, OOO also believes that "Troll threads are allowed in suggestions" as evidenced by their constantly moving them there.

I hate how I try to make a non-forum game thread (like I made a Torchlight 2 thread when it came out) and I just drowned out by stupid games. And since games dominate the forum most of the time, really no serious forumers or many people relevant ever read it. And then I pity the GMs who have to slosh through that garbage on a daily basis. Really, OOO, just make a new forum for asinine games and turn Gremlin Chatter into something of value.

"Discussion" does not seem to always mean any conversation or posts.... If I discuss the future of the game and vaguely state any opinion, this is considered a suggestion (evidenced by my post being moved), even if I am not suggesting it... likewise, this thread could be considered a suggestion, but I am very well aware that my suggestions mean nothing to the developers (whom read and consider the threads we make, but do not act accordingly unless in agreement or otherwise actually looking for feedback. See sunshards update.), and would much rather have my question answered, than a handful of +/-1s that do absolutely nothing.
