Death comes to everyone... Or not.
I think you can know me, you could see me sometimes or just you've made FSC run with me. I mean that i'm player same like you or them, but I'm unlucky with guilds. I didnt have many, I'm not kind of guy that changes guild every week. Last one I left, because guild's leaders didnt see how much effort I've put to make that guild happen and they treated me like I did nothing. I've been officer and there are still plenty of my recruits, MY RECRUITS, that keep in touch with me. It's sad, how new people that you've just met can appreciate your work more than your old, old friends...

I'm decent player. 550 hours of playing speaks for itself. I'm good at everything. I have sets for every kind of fighting stances. I'm communicative, I like to talk with people. Maybe I'm not master of English language and I'm making stupid mistakes, but I can get along with everyone. I'm also polite and social. I like to help others, teach them how to play the game too. I'm not good at talking large of myself. You just should meet me, talk with me and for sure you will notice what kind of dude I am. On the other hand, I have written on steam: WARNING ! VERY RUDE TO IDIOTS, SCUMBAGS, LOWBALLERS, SHARKS AND MORONS. If I'm not gentle, it means that you are one of the above.

I know that there are a lot of guild in-game, but most of them dont apply to me. People seem to underestimate guild's power. Usually those are only for numbers and guild halls. Most people dont know that guild should be built on the basis of friendship. I'm looking for that kind of guild, where people at the very beggining will be friendly to me, they will talk with me like I am one of them. I'd like to have guild, in which we will be one big family, helping each other in need! I'm pretty sure that somewhere in this world that kind of group exists and it's gonna show up.

620 hours in-game and still going strong. I coulda edit this thread a little, to make it more detailed, write something more about myself... But naaaah, i'm too too lazy. You have to live without it. Anyways, I'm still looking for guild and I'm still rejecting invites from random one's.

People, for real. Sending me invites or writing to me that you have "PRETTEH MUCH BEST GUILD IN THE GAME", "WE ARE HAVING FUN", "YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN" wont make me join you. I'm not that guy who dont care about guild that he's in. You really need to show me some more. Come on. SUPRISE ME. For once. Please. If your guild is like any other - get outta here :/

I guess it's time for some editing. I've hitted 700 hours in-game. Not really that much changed, but since this thread is still up, believe me or not, I've met many guild members, I've had many conversations about guilds and things related to them, I've known many different point of views. Results of it are sad. Sad and depressing. I'm out. I'm not looking for guild anymore. What I'm gonna do now? We'll see.

I have to explain my metaphor... Have u ever seen some really good guild's members or leaders - i'll just use good, i dont have any ideas for better adjectives - writing under random guy's thread message "Ohai, join us" ? Still dont understand? Okay. I'll give an example of guild. Guild's master saw my post here. Old one. He wrote to me in-game, actually he joined my run helping me out. He wasnt like "Ohai, i saw ur post.... Wanna guild" or something. He wrote at the very begining that he want to check me. Even after reading my whole post he wanted to check what kind of man I am and if i didnt lie. He didnt write about his guild in like 2 sentences. He was narrating what's up with guild, how it came out, how much he cares about recruiting only mature, polite and friendly people to make his guild one of a kind. He really did prove me how much effort he put to make guild good. Even the best. What was convincing - he showed respect to me. He wasted some of his time and energy just to come and chat. I'm pretty sure that i wont be able to explain in 100% what i mean, because how i wrote - i'm not the best english language speaker. If you still cant understand, I dont know how to help u. You will just have to live with that you cant understand some guy.

How are you going to know a guild is interested in your joining them if we don't advertise it?

No, neither of your two responses were ">guild name< JOIN US FFS." We were both letting you know that we are interested in your joining, and we have to say the guild name otherwise it is unknown which guild is being represted (unless you do research which isn't proper for the recruiter to let this have to be done). Your expectations to me seem to be rather high and vague. And INSISTING upon a certain way you want a reply without telling what that way is, does in appearance leave the impression that you are a snob and think you are above everyone else.

Vague expectations? Dude, I guess ur point of view is like "OW, it's a video game, nobody takes it serious". But nothing more wrong. Maybe it is a video game, but the people are real. And at the end - That YOU didnt understand what i meant, doesnt mean that everybody didnt. Backing up to advertising - If you go to Haven and you will start to write all the time ur nickname, isnt it advertising ur person?

I'm not an @$$hole for taking interesting and trying to get with you before someone else.

I understand everything you have explained thus far. You wanted more personal interest shown in you rather than a "random invite," which the generalized "advertising" of one's guild would seem like. The forums were the fastest way to get ahold of you it seemed, and you didn't specifically say NOT to get ahold of you that way. This is why I chose to reply. I had genuine interest in you and could understand what sort of guild you were looking for. I didn't want someone else getting to you before I did.

I accepted your application long ago, promoted you to officer to help out. You said you "didnt giv a fuk" about any of the guild members or the fact that I wanted someone to help out with recruiting. I was nice to you throughout the time you were in the guild and when I agreed with you that we needed to promote some recruits, and when I got promoted instead of you, you got pissed off and you just *poof.* I'm not surprised at this thread at all. I'd also like to tell you that the guild is still slowly getting up there.

As for his previous guild guys- (I was there when it happened)
He used to be in Dragon Knights and helped run the recruitment thread. He approached long-time Dragon Knights members, Lynavi and myself, about promoting a few of his recruits to Member status. Basically I said I didn't see ~such and such~ online that often so I didn't think ALL his recruits should be promoted, but Lynavi and I mutually agreed a few were deserving of a promotion.

He then proceeded to ragequit. After reading this thread, I'm glad he's gone. I hope he wasn't treating other guild members the same way he is treating you all right now.
