It is much more harder to craft when you buy your ce with crowns instead of using your bank account.
It would take me 15 weeks to turn a 4 star item into a 5 star item.

Do the first two levels of JK, rinse and repeat.
with 100 mist, you could do 5 runs a day which is more or less an hour with a good team. that will bring you approximately 10kcr. So if you play 1 hour a day, you could get 800ce in a week.
That's what I do, at least.

As long as you can get
As long as you can get through FSC (either solo or with a group, doesn't matter which) you can get enough crowns from a run to get 100 CE. That is without having to kill Vana also. If you, or one of your friends, does not have access to the Vana mission you can go through the clockworks also. If you do one run a day it'll take you about a week to turn a 4* into a 5*... assuming you get it leveled to 10 in that week.
