Sorry if anyone's already suggested this, but I've thought that it would be very helpful if a player had a "..." over their head while they're typing (like on Facebook), or if a player did some motion that mimicked writing or something along that line. It would help let others know if someone is actually typing, or if they are AFK.

Also, as was suggested by Addisond, it would be nice if people that were in your chat window (those that fall under the category of guild chat or personal message) had something beside their names to suggest that they were typing.

And as was suggested by Soulstaker, there should be a way to turn it off if you find it annoying.

Finally, it would be amazing if there could be a pop- up "reply button" by people's names in the chat window that would appear if you hovered your mouse over their name. This would save the time of having to type /t Name or /g and such.

PS: This is going to sound kind of weird, but I had a dream about this last night. I dreamed that when I hovered my mouse over a knight, an ellipses appeared in an action bubble over their head.

I think it would look better if the knights placed their hands at their right ear like when you are typing in garry's mod.

Could also be useful with guildchat and PMs (things can get weird with slow typers). It should be possible to determine when/if these are shown, as well.

Did anyone else think that this was a suggestion to make the speech bubble a geometric elipse? please tell me I'm not the only person who did that...

Having it in PM's would be awesome as well, but I'm not sure about the guild chat--> you wouldn't be able to show everyone that is typing in the chat window, because the chat window would get clogged up too soon from notes like "derp is typing". I agree that it would be nice to have a way of knowing who is typing in guild chat, but there would need to be some other way of displaying the fact that a guild mate is typing. Suggestions for this problem?

The idea is to have players who have the /g or /tell (playername) in the chat box counted as typing and others not, so you'd filter people not talking to you.

Talking in guild chat makes the bubble green, whispers make it purple, and whatever other colors doing whatever chat type. Monkey chat channel can have text made of tiny monkeys that make up each letter. A box can dream. Dream about words made of monkeys.

How about a think animation for when someone is typing? (Right arm lands on knight's chest, on which the left one stands holding the knight's head, all while the knight's right foot is tapping)

So, to skip unneccessary crap I normally have to say, +1.
