BTW Echo is one of the least manliest of NPCs Vanguards because he's wearing skolver.
No, he does sell the Heater Shield, so he does have one piece of gear that resists a status condition.

Yes. But it still sounds strange and doesn't really fit the context of the sentence.
I tried and showed that it is fully possible to do all missions with just the free recipes obtained (Vanilla set).
Now I run a Neutralizer/Chaos/BKC load out because Status resistance is for the smart and normal damage
kills everything.
1. Spam all common weapons that take no skill i.e hammer polaris, nitrome
2. get the most OP armor set, even though you can't dodge (chaos cloak)
3. get the swiftstrike buckler (capitalizing on your hatred of dodging)
4. find out your old loadout was better even though normal damage is seerusly UP
5. ????
6. PROFIT!
