Gunslinger Gear Thread

First off, I just want to ask a general question.

1. What gun benefits the most from an attack speed increase, and why?
2. What gun benefits the most from a damage increase, and why?
3. Does a damage bonus vs. undead outclass general damage increase or attack speed increase in any situation?

And moving on:
Do you use gunslinger gear? Do you like it? Do you prefer it to other gear? If you use it, are you a pure gunner? Do you combine it with Vog or any other gear?

Please, let me know in this thread.

A damage bonus vs. a type of monster is basically the same as a general damage bonus; just limited to that type of monster.

As things are, weapons that naturally gain Damage Bonus vs. _______ is just like a weapon that got a UV.
A Leviathan Blade with a UV of DB vs. Undead: High is basically the Cold Iron Vanquisher in itself, but with better overall attack.

Weapons like the CIV and Wild Hunting Blade should have other differences too (not aesthetic) that cannot be gained by the alternative(s) or any other weapon via UVs. Things like the above make such weapons kind of pointless.

But! This is a Gunslinger thread; imo Gunslinger sets have pretty great art. Unfortunately, they lack strengths to be on par with their 'equivalents' in the Wolver and Demo lines, and I hope the stats have another look.

Antigua or Autogun series may benefit most from damage increases.
Antigua lines, as you know, already deal relatively low damage per shot.
Autoguns root the player to the spot when firing, so with the series' high rate of fire, it could be a good idea to add more damage into 1 burst, rather than firing both or trying to cram in two. For the latter situations, you're exposing yourself more.

If your question about the

If your question about the damage bonus vs. undead is for wondering if you should favor the Deadshot armor set over the other gunslinger options, the answer is "no". The primary real difference between the Deadshot armor and the others is that it has shadow defense, which, along with the undead damage bonus, would make it sort of nice for undead strata, but the Nameless set provides a bonus that is -always- useful, plus the elemental defense it provides is of far greater general utility than shadow defense. (Shadow defense is nice to have, but elemental damage is much more common.) Nameless is the de facto "default" armor set for gunners.
