Okay before i start this thread let me make one thing clear i am not trying to OFFENDING anyone with this thread. It is just one of the many stupid things that go on in my mind. So lets start.

Hypothesis:- Remember that interview nick had? He mentioned about a "super secret OOO player guild" i guess i have found it and if we can look throught there member list we could find the doubles of the GM's and DEVS'. and that guild is :- The jempire. Here are the reasons

1 The guild is named jempire so if the j means jellies then it could be that nick is the GM because in all his avatars he is dressed like a jelly.
2 As far as i know, there guild hall has never ever been open to public so it could contain so special type of furniture which only the GM'S AND DEVS' could have.
3 They have been dominating the leaders' boards for a long time that could be because they have the pro's of the game or at least their alts.
conclusion:- It could be that the guild is filled with OOO players only or they could have some outsiders to cover up.
PS I am not trying to insult the jempire or the staff and if i have i am sorry but this is just an idea that i had for a long time.

No, the guild in question isn't Jempire. Jempire is a player guild.

The guild Nick was talking about has basically been disbanded because it became reasonably well known that it was a Ringer staff guild.

Being a part of Jempire, here's my points of disagreement.

1. It is not based on jellies, jeM is the name of ruby's gaming community, http://www.jemgaming.net/

2. We have NO kind of special furniture, our guild hall is same, like the others, EoS have the manliest guildhall =o.

3. So? Jempire is NOT an LD guild, we do GLD for fun, rankings are based on ACTIVITY.

@Gzilla: Eh, some speculation is understandable, and MMO players have been speculating that X powerful player/guild is actually Y staff since the dawn of MMOs. It's a thing that happens. The real problem, apart from any forum rules broken, is when someone posts wrong information and normally reasonable people start believing it. If we see that happening, we may offer a rebuttal, as you've seen.

@Knight --- I am just guessing Eury means the Three Rings guild has grown inactive or well vanished since some smart knights figured out it was the Three Rings secret guild, or the players in that guild no longer play Spiral Knights actively since everyone is trying to hunt them down!! I'm with Eury on this one. I don't think that super secret OOO guild is Jempire. Speculating Jempire is run by OOO's staff is like saying NJ is Eury. (NJ you are not Eury, right, right?)

Put on your tin foiled hats. Let's put it this way, if OOO really, really have the intention to manipulate the market for personal or company gain (thus the system is rigged) and you actually believe in it. All you can do to protect yourself is distant yourself from this game before you get horribly addicted to SK. There is no reason not to believe also OOO didn't rig their internal audit system too.

If there is someone manipulating the market (whoever built that CE wall last year), I'm more inclined to believe it was Jempire responsible than OOO's secret guild. (Not saying Jempire did do it, just using them as a comparison.)

I thought it would be obvious that Jempire isn't OOO's guild going by the sheer size of it. If I am correct Jempire has enough to fill a guild roster even with the size cap increase and OOO has maybe 3 dozen people working on staff for SK. Size of guild does not make sense if it's OOO's guild.

Personally I think their guild is "Jelly Gems".

Since we have already addressed this and let you all know that Jempire is not affiliated with Three Rings, I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. As always, if you run across a player claiming (or even strongly implying) that they're a staff member, and/or that they get stuff that way, please report it ASAP via an in game complaint. If someone's impersonating a staff member, we want to know that right away.
