Using Freeze to kill Skolvers... you crafty [redacted]. If I still PvP'ed I'd be temped to try a similar setup. Could freeze more easily with a Glacius, but it would limit mobility and would lack the awesome KO.
Also, what is the music from? I'd swear I've heard it, but I can't place it.

rofl. I love at 1:50 when the Striker is frozen, sees you charging Triglav, and starts using Striker Boost like "OH CR** UNFREEZE UNFREEZE".
Your opponents may not have been geniuses...but you handled yourself really well. /applaud

I remember using this trick during my prime days in LD,I called it "freeze and smash" (the difference though was that I used Glacius instead of Hail Driver and Khorovod instead of Triglav). If my hippocampus is working correctly at the moment YOU were one of the few lucky ones to be on the receiving end. Its so damn satisfying to see the clones get frozen and then smashed away to the other side of Clockworks xD.
But your technique is quite effective. Good job bringing something new to the "Skolver toothpick dueling arena" we all call Lockdown. Its quite...refreshing and cool (no pun intended).

In my opinion, triglav still needs a bit of a buff. It is such a troll sword with the freeze, but does NO damage. Maybe a buff to damage or a speed increase would be good, just to make it more usable in conflict.

Go ahead and reread that post. I never once said (or implied) that I was jealous. I realize trinkets exist and I know very well that I can obtain them with effort. I was simply making an observation on something I hadn't seen before (the size of a trinketed Striker's health bar). I don't doubt your skill, but still I won't deny that I would like to see how you play without Pentahearts.

@Uber - Cant complain about trinkets when everyone who takes PvP seriously uses them :P Theyre a big advantage against players who arent there for serious games, soo i take it you either dont see them as beneficial or you dont take PvP as seriously as you think you do if youre not using them :P
@HP - I think defensive based weapons should have a chance to do their unique uv on all attacks instead of 2nd combos and charges, thats my opinion. I think thats the major problem with the heavy swords like Triglav and Suda. Youd figure if you play more defensively you would get a better chance at UV hits since youre going to be hitting less often due to swing time, but sadly thats not the case =/ alternatively increase the chance to fair and the freeze to strong.
Maybe a buff soo its like the Fang of Vog where it has a chance to hit with the UV with any swing. I dont think thats asking much considering they are normal damage weapons, heavy weapons, and do far less damage than the other lines.
Or alternatively increase the chance to fair and the freeze to strong.
Just my 2 cents though.

@Tin Foil anyway, i found another combo that works okay-ish. Shivermist + charged Fang of Vog. Less players with freeze resist and a full DPS FoV = instant kill

And, once again, someone completely misses my point. I'm not complaining and I really don't understand why everyone automatically assumes that I am. I am making observations and nothing more. I know I could have trinkets if I wanted to. I also know that they're in the game (like AA) and thus are valid for use in LD. Believe it or not, I've gone 1-on-1 with a few Pentaheart Strikers and won with my ASI Low DA and a Guardian. But I know for a fact that there are other people besides me who would like to see the pros battle it out without all their advantages no matter how justifiable those advantages may be. Yes, Blue owned with that Trig. I'm not denying that. But how much more impressive would it have been if he did it without Guardian-level health?

That is smart! Nice, very nasty. Gj! I'm not a LD player, but I might just become one, thanks to you. I'm also glad to see that you have muscle memory; I haven't seen many players who have it outside of LD. It's in PvP that I only get to see it, but regardless, awesome video.
