OK i have some ideas for new guns that i wanted to share. These guns will be far different from the guns in the game so far everyone knows about the blitz right its the only automatic gun in the game other then its other lines. My ideas are for a new automatic gun where you can run and fire at the same time i know what your thinking OP but hear me out first.The guns will fire and keep on firing as long as you hold the attack key down meaning they have no charge attack the guns will also have weak damage and get stronger the more bullets fired 5 shots fire = like 100 damage the next 5 = 200 damage and so on ( this is just to show you what it would be like it isn't the real damage) if u shield or are hit by anything the bullets will start from the beginning of the damage line.

the first is a 4 star gun this gun will be based on a Mauser C96 for its design and has 10 shots before reload it will be normal damage only

the second will be the 5 star of this gun which will be based on a Heckler & Koch MP5 for its design this gun has 15 shots before reload and does Piercing
damage

the next 5 star (also is upgraded from the 4 star) will be based on a FN P90 for its design which will do elemental damage also has 15 shots

Shoot while running backwards. Even if running speed is reduced, enemies take their time to follow you and attack.
Only fiends have fast reactions.

Argent and Sentenza already have the job of laying down constant fire. Adding this would remove the point of getting argent or sentenza unless the damage is greatly reduced.

As a side note:
Why does all suggestion tend to add a sense of laziness or dumb down the game more than it already is? (no offense of course)
The game is already easy as it currently is. I don't mind if OOO host a whole new server that's harder, like how Nexon have Vindictus and Vindictus EX version but the exact opposite.

(I am in no way, trying to promote Nexon and its games)

But a skilled player, could abuse this.

Pepper has you stood still, but magma driver is on par in situtioms.

And have you compared the damage?

EDIT This would be OP as the DMG multiplies, but then, it depends on what value, really low could end up making it UP.

like i said before its a base idea so i haven't done anything like comparing damage i know that it needs to be weaker then most guns to make it fit in the game so its not over used by skilled players

Base idea or not, if you're making a new gun that replaces another line, then randomly say that it's weaker, you need to look up the weapons.

Also, you may as well make it an hipster one, or it's completely UP, no one may not use it.

We gave out critisms about it.

Considering that though didn't think it though well, yeah.

You could start learning more about the game.

Or ask Bopp And Zeddy.

I don't see hate.
now, the gun. machine gun. rifle. whatever.
the mechanic is bad. having each bullet deal more damage is not what you want. really. I can spam bullets and enemies die.
even with a nerf, the damage would be absurd, too high or too low. because mid damage leads to high damage eventually.
also, many players use 1 shot then shield cancel to be faster. this would destroy that thing.
so, no.

Bad idea. I would use this for FSC and get 1+ damage. In lockdown, they would keep using it until the player dies. -1

Nice suggestion but the antigua lines are good enough. What we need are guns that don't shoot bullets, lasers anyone? Make it work like a railgun

look, he is just trying to add a little diversity. what is so bad about that?

the suggestions forum is here so that when one person comes up with an idea that won't work, everyone else can give constructive criticism to help make the idea work, rather than being little nerdy people sitting safe behind your keyboard, and not helping in the slightest.

if you were to make the shots get wildly inaccurate the more you shoot, that would give you an incentive to not continuously run around firing constantly.
make the damage fairly low and increase a fraction the more you shoot. it also doesn't have a charge so you are sacrificing that advantage for being able to move and rapid fire.
an AP at stratum 6 deals 62-67 damage against Slimes and Fiends (the enemies it has neither a damage bonus or penalty against) and they are 6 accurate shots that can be dealt fairly fast, that is 390 damage. the charge against the same enemy types is 910 (from the 5 shots) plus the bird which can do 3 more hits dealing over 100 more damage. as it doesn't have a charge does it seem reasonable for the initial 5 shots of this new gun to do 25 damage and then increase to 30 for the next 5 shots, and then increase to 35 for the final 5 before needing to reload. that is 125 for the first five, 150 for the next five, 175 for the final five equaling 450 damage in total, just a little over the AP. that is providing you don't get interrupted and that each shot hits. due to having no charge it seems reasonable to me. you could also make the pointing of it really slow too, so to turn to a new enemy whilst firing would be a waste of shots, forcing you to start your shooting again from 25

Now I may not be the right person to ask when considering game balance, but the other posters here were pointing out that this gun would make others obsolete. You're accusing people of being "little nerdy people sitting safe behind your keyboard" when you're really no different. You were typing that weren't you?

I wouldn't be too adverse to the damage actually decreasing, to stop people from continuously firing (@Phantom-Saint, as in, put your damage numbers backwards) but again, I'm not the one to ask about game balance. Now, onto features that could possibly balance the idea, which would be debuffs. Continuous fire generally should be frowned upon. With most weapons in the game, it's the need to reload which takes time.

-No infinite clip: It could have a large clip, but no reloading would be blatantly unbalanced.

-Movement speed decrease VH while firing: Still technically a mobile gun, just still leaves you open to enemy attacks.

-Extremely inaccurate from the get-go: Last time I checked, rifles were meant for covering an area, not for precise sniper-like accuracy.

-I'm not sure about the "holding down the attack button to keep on firing" thing, but I'm sure it could be replaced with a clip that can be unloaded while moving, but cannot be shield cancelled.

The main problems with this idea is that it replaces too many other guns, and would outclass them greatly. In terms of game balance, it's a terrible idea but remember, I'm definitely not the person to ask in terms of game balance.

@Unstable-Ordinance you clearly have not being reading very in depth here. it has been said multiple times that it needs reloading so i'm not sure whether it is worth reading the rest of your comment.

that is not helping.

PS i was actually trying to help, even though i agree that it is quite a difficult concept to apply to the game, rather than just arguing with each other.

I second that. Although this idea HAS been suggested many times, many posters just gave half-assed reasons on why it shouldn't be implemented.
