Spiral Time

I believe that it would be nice if there was a standard time in spiral knights, so that you could schedule when you wanted to do things with other people.

It would also help guild masters, if they wanted to post a time by which people must donate to the treasury or if they wanted to hold a meeting at a certain time.

I think that the best way for setting up a Universal Spiral Knight's time would be to base it off of a certain time zone (like eastern Europian or something).

Please give your thoughts about this topic-- constructive criticism is appreciated.

Clock furniture item, maybe? Or just a huge time billboard in Haven. (or put the time on one of the auction house moniters so that it will be in both Haven AND Guildhalls)

Yes it does, but you have to be very specific if you tell someone to meet you at a certain time (the time zones are different). This can cause confusion if someone doesn't list their time-zone. It's also kind of bothersome to look up the time-zone differences every time.

Spiral knights uses PST time. Check the arcade, and look at the uncompleted gates. Maybe there is a date on it

The problem with that is...no-one checks the arcade lol. And people don't often meet near the gates. Meeting places are usually in Town Square or in Guildhalls.

Sure I'd like this small and easy to realize change, but as you see your pleas hit deaf ears.

if you want the hour

just go to guild hall and donate. also, from donations, you can see when players are on. sure, it shows your time, but it's always something.

@Yauj

You need to stop spreading lies because OOO does care, and if they didn't, servers would be dead and down by then. Otherwise, GTFO and stop calling people stupid.

P.S: Yauj, your subject caught my view .___.

Didn't call anyone stupid

just pointed at the already existing threads.

And I always get bitter after playing a month or two and seeing nothing to have changed. Or to be more precise: seeing how they add cosmetic features instead of fixing the existing flaws.
The guildhall has a few interesting features, sure, but I'd rather have seen actual improvement to enviroment and gameplay balance. Battlesprites are a new feature to be added in an already unbalanced gameplay. How that will influence future balancing I do not know. Also, topics like this, which are really no big deal to realise, yet still without having been mentioned in any patch notices, make me sad. The are suggested over and over, but for some reason no one bothers with it. Instead we get half-hearted events that stay for a month and then vanish for a year.
Not caring doesn't mean they'd shut the servers down. You won't shot the mule that carrys your stuff just because you don't care about his actual well being. As long as it does it's job you give it water and food, patch up any bigger wound just to keep it walking.

Also, it's fine to make new topics on it. Maybe it works like with pets where more topic = more attention?

Oh here we go

just pointed at the already existing threads.

We realise that. But pre-existance of a thread ≠ Not going to be implemented

And I always get bitter after playing a month or two and seeing nothing to have changed.

Just because the development team don't implement something within the two months of an item being suggested, doesn't mean the things won't get implemented. Just look at the Guildhall Chess Project (owait, you wouldn't know about that) or the whole Guildhall Upgrade altogether. That thread was up for over 4 months before they even ANNOUNCED that they were working on it.

Although I don't know exactly what OOO are doing weapon balance-wise (perhaps they're working on one huge balance overhaul, that will be released with the BattleSprite update)

Also, it's fine to make new topics on it. Maybe it works like with pets where more topic = more attention?

One fully detailed thread > Hundreds of crappy threads with no information

Every time.
