What was your first 3*? Also, what led you to get it?I'm doing this because I'm curious to see what was people'sfirst 3*.
My first 3* was a tempered calibur.The reason why I got the calibur was because there was a cheap one for 900cr and I won it, it was so exciting to get a 2* sword while I was still 1*. After I discovered the charge, I fell in love with it.When I got the 3*, I was equally excited and I wasn't disappointed. It was so fun back then charging it up and see monstors get owned by the charge ( this was before the missions update.)

Mine was a Shockburst Brandish. I liked how there were explosions that carry mobs! Now i'm on my way to getting all the special damage brandishes.

A Striker that became a dread venom striker eventually.
I got it because I liked the way that it had a long combo. I saw myself getting hurt when I ran out of combos early on, and so crafted my striker. But that was quite some time ago, when I had a bit less of an idea on how to play the game.

Arc Razor or Striker, I can't remember which one came first but I really liked their speed (and the wind bullet from arc razor was pretty cool too). But I stopped using them when I noticed how pitifully weak they are in comparison to most swords.

I think my first two swords were the Cutter-DVS and Calibur-Leviathan lines, all the way up to 5-star. I remember dying a lot with the cutter, but it was fun killing wolvers with the full combo. I almost never use them now.

Nightblade, upgraded to Acheron while still wearing 2* armor and shield. It was by far my favorite weapon to farm JK and do t2 (and t3 thanks to the potion throw glitch) arcade.

Uhmmmmmm.... Must've been the Kamarin.
I was attending Troikamas, and I had saved up loads of energy for the event and earlier in the day before it I was asking Tdlob whether the Sudaruska or Triglav was better for bombers, and he said Sudaruska so yeah. When I got to Troikamas, it was so laggy that I could barely speak so I tried to send an ingame mail to Tdlob to ask him to craft it for me and I accidentally sent it 6 times. Fortunately, he was kind enough to give the extra back and by that time the lag cleared up and I could get it myself from a staff member in a Kat Eye Cowl. He handed it to me and I was so pleased, that I gave him a tip.
I guess it's sort of weird that a bomber's first 3* weapon is a sword but :P

Ironically, I didn't upgrade it to Acheron till about 6 months later, using my prize money from troikamas to do so. One of my favorite swords, and I used it over GF when it was 4* quite a lot.

A striker.
I used it because I saw a friend of mine using it and loved the multi-hitting ghost slashes (I nicknamed it a "Combo Sword"). It just looked really cool to use.
It was my first 5* weapon (DVS), and it wasn't until after that I realized other swords were far better. It was so fun to use and looked so visually appealing, I stuck with it for a long time.
The more I used it, the more I realized how vulnerable I had to make myself to get more than a slash out at a time (Previously I hadn't even worried about it...I was still a newb), and the more I took damage. Shortly after getting it to 5*, I heated a toothpick. This was before Lockdown was released, though it was only a Grand Flourish by the time Lockdown came out. It became my main weapon since it facerolled in LD and I used to run Arcade all the time, which it was plenty useful for (Before all I did was FSC).
My second 3* items were the Gunslinger set. I didn't care that I was primarily using swords (as most newbies do), or that it didn't have pierce defense (and my team frequently ran RJP...yes...back then, we had teams), it just looked cool. So what the hay, right? Deadshot became my first 5* armor set, followed by the ubiquitous Skolver set, which again was not made for Lockdown. It was Ash Tail when LD was released, and I only got Skolver over Vog Cub due to my friend using Vog Cub.
My other weapon was a Fire Alchemer, which to this day is 2*, after being retired since getting an Antigua, my 4th 3* item, and my second 5* item (AP).
If you're wondering why it took so long for me to get my gear (Like...3 months from release to until Lockdown came out), I'm F2P.

Rigadoon, the mighty and humble yellow terror.
I believe it was either Fiery Vaporizer MkII or Sun Shards. I can't recall which one I upgraded first, but those were my first and only weapons for a relatively long time.
I like setting things on fire and retro, 8-directional stuff.
