So the other day I was playing a game of Lockdown. We had bribed Krogmo and the reward was 2 extra coins to the winning team. Someone from my team left before the match started but we still managed to stay only 10-15 points behind the full sized team. Near the end someone from the other team left.

When the other team won and the chat spit out the "You've been awarded X Krogmo Coins blah blah blah" it said that I had been awarded 2 for winning and 2x from the bribe so I won 4 coins but wasn't on the winning team. I also checked my Krogmo Coin count and it had in fact gone up by 4. What happened?

You probably mis-read the bribe.

It can be awarded to only the winning team or sometimes everyone in the match.

But that still doesn't explain why the count went up by 4. You only get 1 if you lose, so there's still the extra K-Coin from the alleged "win" that's unaccounted for.

Can't Help but wonder

@Ironskullkid: Nope it was for just the winning team.
I also have the prize crowns for allegedly "winning" as well

I also wonder the following:

Was I reading MY team's score as the other team's?

Did the quitters on both teams Incur the wrath of some bug?

Could it have anything to do with me doing 12K damage when no one else had over 9000? (No meme intended)

If I remember, if almost your whole team left & no one in the other team did, you & the remaining people on the team get all the leavers' Crowns(added together then divided amongst you & the others).

I'm not sure, I'm not a Lockdown Scientist.

^ but this is only if you

^ but this is only if you win, seeing as the losers wouldn't get any crowns anyway.

Maybe if HALF the people in a game leave, the crowns and stuff are given to all the people who are left?

No amps here

The only amp I use (and very rarely) is a heat.

I think then, the most likely reason would be you were reading the wrong team's score, or you misread the bribe reward (though you already said you were pretty sure you didn't).

Really can't think of anything else.

AFAIK, Crowns are the only things that are relocated when a person leaves (The rest of the winning team receives them), while KCs are not given to the remaining players. The crown sink # stays the same regardless of players leaving/joining, but there's no need for KCs to have that same sink-equalizing trait.

*Interrupted record sound*

Just read that you said you won the crowns as well. I'm almost certain you read the team's numbers incorrectly now.

I think I might be with you.

I was on pink team and I could have sworn it was Blue that hit 500 first though. But maybe you're right. Maybe it was my team that hit 500 first. Or maybe a glitch where the scores were reversed for some weird ass reason. Could be any number of things.
