Liek how OCH has mass amounts of this, I was thinking, why not have this in several things, to liven things up, and add to the lore....

Example 1:

In the treasure area for FSC throne room, show a burnt out throne. Upon Sitting on it:

"The throne seems to be burnt out and both hot and uncomfortable. Lord vanaduke must've been keeping it warm"

2:

When Vana Dies:

"Like the Pheonix, Lord Vanaduke shall rise from the ashes, as it's his cursed fate"

Upon the Snarbolax's death:

The Knight's blade when "Snicker Snack!" and the mighty beast fell in one quick Swoop.

RT

An screen near the elevator(like Seerus uses) blares:

"ALL WORKMEN! Evacuate the Premises! This is not a drill! Also, casual fridays are now canceled due to the lack of work effort".

RJP:

"Glorp! The king as fallen!"

RJP, Inspecting a gelatinous pile(the jelly all over the place).
Upon Wiping it, you see a encased and preserved knight of old. "This burnt out husk seemed to wear a strange gear and has a shield with a crown and Tree insignia.

Upon INSPECTING the bodies in Vile engine/Concrete Jungle.

'The knights seem to have puncture wounds, and a vile, vitrolic goop on them.

Seeing Runes:

"I wonder what these runes are for"

great Escape: One of the knight upon reaching elevator:

"I was expecting Cowboys and the Nameless gunslinger to appear....."

Hahn, via chat box(has a yellow tint as it's a com link) when you see a gremlin body and it being rezed for the first time in the tier 3 elemental missions:
"Regentetive powers? Interesting how the compound crystal works..."

Upon interacting with a Gun Puppy(momoni) statue in CW:

"Is it a coincidence that this is in both in Haven and a Gremlin Weapon?"

Seeing the first Project R in Missions:

"Another Gun Puppy? This one seems large..."

Seeing Project R in Arcade:

"For a second, I thought it was starting again...."

Inspecting a lichen colony meteor[happens after defeating wave](unstable): Upon inspecting, "It appears that the lichens crash-landed on this planet, like the knights".

Pit boss dying quotes:

I'll sue you!
I was going to be promoted...
But's Hawaiian shirt day!

Simply, when you interact with somehting, a text says something.

Came out of the idea that razwog and thingy has it.

How is that not unessisary.

Also, while being flavour text, some alludes to the lore.

Have you played OCH? It's full of screens with short pieces of dialog.
Or last year, when monsters talked during april fools.....
Or any mission with knight NPCs....

The base of the idea is already implemented, just not used much.

I like this idea. It would definitely make the game a lot more colourful and have more personality.

How abou this one for the meteors in the lichenous lairs. Seeing as it isn't actually canon that lichens are aliens (If it is mentioned somewhere let me know)

Nah, just kidding.

Sorry Unstable, but no for lichenous lair inspection. Inspecting lichens? How? After they die, they don't drop mass like Rock Jelly. Anyway, the Info Module (yellow recon module) at the start of the level already says there aliens, so putting it everywhere in the level would be plain stupid. It's like telling someone to... uh... buy a turtle after they already bought one?

So your saying Royal Jelly's body contains a knight with some unknown armor, right? Well, we can see what's INSIDE the Royal Jelly, and everything inside him is just the cores. Nothing else. The crown is directly on top. So no, it would not make sense to put something like that.

Project R Arcade: If you mean the boss itself, no. No before-boss interaction with a robot, please. If you mean the statue, no again. This "Again" would not make sense to people who like to run the Arcade (aka 15% of SK population) instead of missions.

Project R Mission: You mean the WIP Roarmies in one of those missions? No need for that, that's what the player sees when they see it.

Momoni: What is CW?

Hahn: So every time a gremlin dies, Hahn randomly pops up out of the Comlink and says the same thing over and over again? No thanks.

Dead bodies in Concrete Jungle: First we have to ADD dead knight bodies. Right now we only have Dust Zombie (Seemingly a different species) bones and skulls lying around. And, there are many of the skull/bone piles. You want the interaction to be done on 1 world, the concrete jungle, right? There's STILL many of the piles. No thanks, I don't want to have 100 NPCs without animations and anything to talk when I press the attack key.

Snarbolax: But what if you gunned or bombed him?

Ever asked yourself why these Interaction things are only on the end/start of a level? Because if it would be randomly placed, the player instead of hitting a monster would activate the message. If it's something like Impostoclaus in 2012's winterfest, this has a chance.

A few of these interactions are to be found in Devilish Drugs Factory-- I mean Drudgery levels, but there all way aside. You know why? So the player won't interact during battle. There is one in one or two scenario rooms, but they are not placed in the very centre of the battlefield. Placing interactions like those skullpiles would be bad.

I do not give a 1+, but I won't give a -1 either. The above one was a joke.
If this becomes something, I might come here again.

I don't agree in having this idea implanted more. We already have some, and too much would make the game bad for me. So I suggest only adding it in specific places. These places aren't specific much. For the bosses, do you mean that the bosses make a speech like Vanaduke? I would like that implented from Snarby into IMF

I was referring to the meteorite you get as a scenario room occasionally in Lichenous Lairs. Activating it causes lichens to spawn in waves. Sorry if I didn't make it clearer.

I'll say it again, some OCH screens activate as you pass by, or hit switchs/open doors after cleaning a room.
No direct interaction needed. They run on the background.

To add some humor, and personallity to the levels and characters.

Maybe the Snarbolax shouldn't speak, but have some narrations similar to how Lug did it in Spinning a Yarn and the Lewis Carol poem.

You mailed me 2 times in-game and asked what I meant by "the above one was a joke". I was reffering to the top -1.
In your mail, you told me I misterpeted it. If so, how am I supposed to? Please explain that. But I still don't get anything about those dead knight bodies.
Also, I like Skyguarder's idea if it's just boss speak.

@Unstable Yes, but the problem is once the player "interacts" with a meteor, it spawns several lichen colonies. This would not be good to put in the middle of a battlefield, rather aside.

Similar to Razwog. So you click on them and the thing pops up. I'll edit the op when I can.

Most of those are adding speech/description boxes.

Is adding something like OCH bad?

What is wrong with inspecting things?

Several levels allow you to inspect the same things despite already being played?

It's not like it's forcing you. You have the decision of inspecting it.
