So I was playing around, swinging my grintovec and suda. Both have no UVs. I realised that my grintovec was swinging faster than my sudaruska. I tehn found out it was not a graphics effect when I went into IMF. I can always combo mecha knights with my suda, without waiting. When trying to to this with my grintovec the 2nd swing didnt connect usually.
My friend, magnicth appeared to swing his triglav slower than my grinto too.
Any explanations for this?
I've actually seen a difference in sword speed in LD. I was using a troika and a DA. my troika swung faster than my DA. I was actually able to hit someone 27+ times with a troika (double swing o_e) but only could do one full combo with DA before the enemy recovered and hit me. I think it's a slight difference that OOO implemented to give lower star players a bit of an easier time.

Also, he's right, both Etharaes's suda and my triggy were noticeably slower than his grintovec. It might just be a thing to help lower star players out when using them, as Terra-Necro said, but still, it's something.

Tried this with Grintovec. Got 27 combos per minute with no ASI and 33/min with max. Seems to be a bit higher than what they have for Sudaruska (not sure if Triglav is the same)
Lancer Knightz have 26 and 32 for Sudaruska, where you have 27 and 33 for Grintovec. This small of a difference can be expected from variation in the testing procedure --- people using different timing protocols, etc. I am not yet convinced that Grintovec is any faster than Sudaruska.
perhaps.. I tried it with Jalovec and got 25 (normal) and 31 (max), so at least Grintovec is quicker than Jalovec from my own testing.
tried a few other slow swords while I was at it.
Hatchet: 27, 33 (max)
Heavy Hatchet: 33 (max)
Thwack Hammer: 33 (max)
Sealed Sword: 29, 32 (high)
I upgraded my grintovec, and now my jalovec swings at the same speed as my sudaruska, so it seems that only the 3 star troikas (or maybe just grintovec) swing faster. I can now land the full combo without pausing.
I test sword speed only at 5-star, so I can't confirm. It would be neat to see some clear tests.
