Paol was the single best guardian I ever saw. He could win 1v2's against strikers most of the time and sometimes even 1v3. Haven't seen him in a long time :( Silly US players thinking they're the best with their little UV's and pings

Feller and many other players, not necessarily ones who have joined in for this thread, illustrate how I see a stereotypically hateful person in this game. Not to say Feller is detestable but his convenient appearance helped me remember why I have been losing interest in this game when it comes to the player community.
In fact, now that I devote more than two seconds to think about it since I almost exclusively devote thought for this game on fixing problems with it, not long after Lockdown came out was when the bitterness of others began to infect me like a disease. I still feel symptoms from this disease because its origin is constantly barraging myself and countless others. None of the other MMO titles I have played to this day have had such hateful, awful, unpleasant people even if the game itself allows for significantly harsher actions between players.
I was going to go on a rant here but the only people who are still reading this post are those who the rant would not be directed to, since the target reader has become too frustrated with how I see them to respect me anymore. Not that their respect is worth the cheap reskinned cosmetics that adorn it.

Actually there was this Dusker noob I was playing with and pretty much he kept killing me by spamming. How is that?, well lemme just say... DAT ASI!!!!! Anyone can be good in lockdown with a good weapon with an asi on it. Not everyone can be good without that "speed helper." And also each weapon leaves you frozen for a little while like when you are getting spammed by a cutter. So what I'm saying is that If someone with an asi flourish comes and circles you shield canceling your left frozen untill he finishes. (It's that or his boost runs out and he comboes you. :) )

Oh man, this made me laugh so much.
Firstly, who the heck is Fellar? I've played Lockdown as Balderus for a while on both US and EU and I don't ever remember being killed by him. (Bytheway: You can click on Forum Preferences to grab yourself a nice little avy. c:) I've been fighting without Auto-target and I really don't see the big deal in not using it. Perhaps you need something to blame your deaths on and don't quite know how to dodge something so predictable.
Secondly, most of the people listed are wolver line striker clones; I'm not afraid of some pulsar toting toothpick/faust swinging proto/skolver guy. I'm terrified of the bombers and the gunners, most especially the gunners. Blueflood, Bigfootm, that fella Azoldria's always hanging out with. They're the scary people.
Thirdly, this is like asking who's the strongest: Rock, Paper, Rock #2, or Scissors. Not only are most of their play styles pretty similar but different people are weak against different things. Rdzknights is incredibly skilled but I was able to constantly kill him as a recon with a 4star blaster and a hammer; meanwhile, some 'noob' who wasn't even on this list kept slaughtering me.
Lastly, The votes will be biased because I know some who are friendlier or more well known than others and I'm most definitely not going to vote for half the cocky elitists even if they were unbeatable. (I'd list names just to show who I wasn't talking about but I'm not sure if that'd be redacted or not.)

This poll is a joke and extremely biased. What several of you don't realise is how crucial latency is. LD is not an even playing ground due to this. There is no best Lockdown Player because of the horrible imbalances and the nature of LD, damage is not an accurate indicator of skill either because how often do you see a random striker just dash up to a point and hit 3-4 high ping players or just unaware guys who dont even have the server connection to react.
The best players imo are the high latency ones who have been accustomed to high latency and when they finally have a chance to fight on fair ground, they will dominate.
Aussies get latencies of about 350ms and over, they have to predict movements nearly 0.5-1 seconds ahead of time
Heres a shout out to the aussie players who i believe would dominate the pants off the game if they had better latency. I believe these players have a lot of skill as i've seen them dominate without the use of AA/hammer as other aussies have resorted to using. the UV's they possess are nothing more than equalizers, not an advantage.

major props to yomi and solarburst for even attempting to gun.
Hypothetically speaking, the best LD player is and was Badworm. This guy was a juggernaught, he would literally carry teams to victory with that offensive hardcore guardian style. He was public enemy number 1 for every team he was facing.

I see you're basing the best Lockdown player off of damage, but guess what? That doesn't make you a great Lockdown player to get zero captures and 10,000 damage.
Lockdown skill is based off of captures.
If Lockdown was a free-for-all match, then the one would the most captures would win.
Change the title to "Best Lockdown Damage Scorers"
Also, some people would say damage is important, because you need to kill other people for captures, but there's something called a DEFEND that's different. The majority of people that get a buttload of damage don't get much captures , which proves majority of the kills aren't for captures. it's just to show off how much points you get for hitting people MOST OF THE TIME, not all of the time.
People don't usually aim for damage to make a good effort on their team, because they don't capture a lot.

Defends are defending a control point. Damaging someone can be walking around the map killing any random person you see, or defending. That's like saying there's no difference between a biome and an ecosystem, when an ecosystem is basically like a biome with more features. I know captures won't take much experience, and I do see a point there why someone shouldn't make a thread about the most captures; I just find it ridiculous to get zero captures, when anyone can capture, and people worship people like deities who just go around hitting people. People adapt to attacking people, which makes it simple for them.
Anybody can capture. I'm just changing my point to that, and they're not participating to help their team, if they get a small amount of captures.

It means you were fighting on the CPs, while a lot of "good" LD players go camp the enemy base just to hit people, regardless if any slip by or not.

Doing damage by itself does much less for your team as a whole. Capturing CPs means you're actually being beneficial to your team, because capturing CPs almost always means doing damage to defend it. Seldom will you cap a CP (Other than the start of the game) unchallenged. You're being beneficial to your team's overall score, as well as doing damage, which ties in with Defends.
Games that have players on one side doing 35K Damage (0~2 caps) and end up some 600:400 score, when it should be a lot more unbalanced with that kind of damage, are testimony to how much less damage helps your team than capping.
