Ciao a tutti! c'è qualche italiano che gioca?
Ciao a tutti
I don't think there are Italian forums here but you can send a support request by clicking the link provided to ask about your issue:
Well, these are the English forums, so English is expected. But there aren't Italian forums, so I sympathize with the poster. He might try the Spanish forums? Italian is much closer to Spanish than it is to English.
Anyway, welcome to Spiral Knights, Telpemarions. :)
I think French is similar to Italian than Spanish...
Bonjour and Bongiorno! While Spanish is Hola!
Meh..
You picked "good day" in French and Italian, but "hello" in Spanish. It's an unfair comparison. See "buenos dias". But you are right that he could also try French. Any Romance language would be better than any Germanic language, presumably --- unless he knows English, or the English forums happen to be much more active than the others.
languages are different even if they are close. really, I can't understand spanish. there are also different sentence structures in spanish that in european languages you don't find. exept portugese.
french would be a better solution. but, again, you must now the language. so it's better understanding english and post in english.
but actually I could just create an italian forum on my own. it would be a lot simplier. I think. not sure. not sure at all.
Bonjour is hello in French. Source: I'm in France.
French people say either Bonjour (or Bonsoir at night) or Salut if they are friends.
There is ciao as Hi in Italian I guess? But i think it's the same situation as salut. More friendly? Just guessing.
Eclaium, I know that "bonjour" is a version of "hello", but there are many ways to say "hello" in any given language. You picked the same way to say hello from French and Italian, but then picked a completely different way to say hello from Spanish. Don't you see how it would be more fair to compare "bonjour" and "bongiorno" to "buenos dias" to than "hola"?
oh sorry my bad about buenos dias.
but still french and italian sound similar than spanish, that's all. my italian friend who speaks english is learning french and i can say he is speaking english when he is speaking english. i mean, when he speaks french, i doubt if he is really talking in french, he completely sounds italian (i'm just saying how they seem similar, no spanish stuff this time)
Okay, I didn't really think we were in a serious disagreement. Cheers. :)
And good luck, original poster.
Some words are more similar to french, others to spanish.
"house" is "maison" in french, but "casa" on both spanish and italian.
"dog" in spanish is either "perro" or "can" Italian has "cane". French has "chien"
for everyone who cares: italian asking for other italians. erm, is it allowed?
