So, as the title says, you can tell that it's taking me a long time doing the boss missions to get a lot of cash. I tend to do JK runs because...well they get you more money. Any of you guys in 5* have any better places to earn money? Remember, i've reached 8-2 in my rank, so that's what is open to me...
PS: I've just recently bought my first 5* recipe, don't have any 5* gear...yet.

so many threads

There have been many threads about how to earn money. Please search the forums (using a real search engine like Google, rather than the forum search function).

The short answer is: Get a friend to invite you to Firestorm Citadel (even if they just leave you there). Or do runs to depth 23 and re-sell rare recipes that you find. Or keep farming RJP and IMF. Graveyards and arenas can also pay well.

OP

Isn't [cog] is a filtered word in this game?

Yes, it is! ~Aphrodite

Thanks Aphrodite, I was just reminding the OP that he's swearing.

Eh

Use the Party Finder to jump into PUG FSC runs. It's better than nothing.
Also, if you can afford to, join at depth 21 (? or two floors before the terminal) and resell boss recipes. 3*s work best, but since you're in T3, 4-5*s will do the job fairly well.

Ask nicely if you can join someone's Vana run.

Harbringer-Reaper, your best bet is to find a friendly guild and ask them nicely if you could join their Vanaduke run ;)

Node 53120 is credit to team

If you have a lot of friends that are Vanguards, or a guild with a lot of said players, you can join a Firestorm Citadel run, as has been said. You can also make your way to Firestorm Citadel by going down the right Tier 3 Gate.

If you've got your account on Steam and have some items in TF2 that you don't want, you could trade them for CE. And if you're savvy enough, you can play the market for a small fortune.

Then there's Guild Hall trophies. Check to see if they would profit you by selling them... unless you're in a guild, in which case that would be kind of unethical, plus you have a guild that can run things with you. Royal Jelly Palace and Ironclaw Munitions Factory should still be profitable.

If you hit the Clockworks, look for Arenas. Danger Rooms in the Clockwork Tunnels (and its status variants) also offer some nice treasure.

Forge, Primal, and Grim Sparks can be saved up; 100 can buy a five-star trinket that doesn't usually help much, but can be sold for 10000 Crowns.

Thanks :D

Thanks for the advice, I will take it...
Issue is that I don't have many firestorm friends, any that I do when I come, I get kicked >.<
I could just farm RJP, that'd take a long, long time...
I ought to join a guild. XD
Echo of Silence, I guess...

I wish you luck with that

What kind of kit do you currently have, by the way? :o
It's still possible for you to do FSC runs without an invite, it's just that you'd need to go into the Clockworks to do it. Doing t2 recipe runs might also be profitable for you, depending on whether the Random Number Gods like you or not - it's somewhat cheaper than t3 recipe runs, and although you're less likely to get a large number of profitable recipes, they are much easier to purchase and you can make a large profit margin off boss weapons. Or, y'know, find arena-rich stratums.
