Hello,
I have bought two trinket slots, and two slash modules (four stars). Wiki says that slash modules will give me low damage bonus to sword. So, I expected a bit better damage. So, now I have two slash modules with low damage bonus to sword.
My friend told me that it is the same like one trinket with medium damage bonus. But, the problem is that damage has not been increased. Damage is the same as without any trinket slot upgrade.
For example:
My damage against slime is 163 (silent nightblade with UV against slime - HARD)
Damage with one triknet: still 163
Damage with both trinkets: Guess what, 163
Then what is the point of these trinkets?

Damage bonus
If I am correct, then my bonus is:
Dusker cap (low damage sword bonus) +1
Dusker coat (low damage sword bonus) +1
Barbarous Thorn Shield (medium damage sword bonus) +2
Silent Nightblade (slime bonus high) +3
= 6 (7)
Right?
I didn't know that this bonus can not be increased more.
So it is the same bonus as nightblade with max bonus against slime without any trinket and armour?
And bonus will be same while wearing skolver armour with nightblade which has no UV, right?
Basically, all swords will be at max level with skolver amour, am I correct? Then all UVs on swords are useless.

Still a room for more
The two trinkets will still increase your dmg against other monsters, though, because the bonus on your sword only counts against slime.
Right now, you have Max. bonus versus slime, but "only" Very High (4 points) versus everything else. So your dmg versus everything except slime will be increased by the trinkets ;)
EDIT:
And yeah, with full Skolver Set, the trinkets won't make any difference.
You might go for Skolver/Vog mix, though, and make use of the UV and trinkets.

Philip-Cze, read the wiki page "Abilities". That page explains how abilities such as damage bonus add together. In short, each level of damage bonus should increase your damage by roughly 5% or 7%, until you reach Maximum! and there can be no more increase.
In general, your plan of acquiring damage bonus through armor and trinkets is wise. Then, go for ASI and CTR UVs on your swords. You may find the Armor, Shield, and Trinkets section of my detailed sword guide useful.
Do you happen to be wearing full Skolver with a BTS? Sword bonuses don't go above 6 points (1 point each for Low, 2 for Med, 3 for High, 4 for VH, 5 for Ultra, 6 for Max!)
If you already have 6 points of damage bonus then two trinkets are worthless.
